Post and Vacancies :
Research Associate - 01 Post
Salary: Rs. 36,000 - Rs. 40,000/- Per Month
Job Location: Pune
Educational Qualification: M.Phil/Ph.D
Other Qualifications:
1. Minimum educational Qualification: Ph.D. in Computational Biology or Computational Biocatalysis.
2. Preference: Candidates having strong quantitative / computational and mathematical background will be preferred. The candidate should have demonstrable (publications in international journals) skills in computational methods developed in using molecular mechanics and quantum simulation software. The candidate should be an expert programmer and have the capacity of working independently.
3. Tenure of the appointment: Up to March 29, 2019. Consolidated emoluments: Rs. 36,000 + 30% HRA to Rs. 40,000 + 30% HRA per month based on the experience.
4. Project Title: “Structural descriptors of protein-protein and proteinligand binding sites and knowledge-based design of new interfaces and ligands”
General Information:
1. The appointment is purely temporary and will terminate automatically without any notice or compensation on termination of the project.
2. The appointed person shall have no claim of appointment / absorption in Funding Agency or in IISER Pune.
3. The appointment of the applicant will be governed by the terms and conditions of the funding agency particularly applicable to the said project.
4. The qualification prescribed should have been obtained from recognized Universities / Institutions.
5. Relaxation in age, educational qualification and or experience may be considered in case of exceptionally meritorious applicants, with prior approval of the competent authority.
6. No TA/DA will be admissible for appearing for the interview.
7. Selected candidates will have to join duty immediately on receipt of the offer.
