Junior Advisor - 01 Post
Salary: Rs. 16,400 - Rs. 40,500/- Per Month
Job Location: Chennai
Qualification: B.A, B.Com, B.Sc
Other Qualifications:
1. Essential Educational /Technical Qualification: 2nd Class Graduate with degree of B.A/B.com/B.Sc/ with min. 20 years experience in the relevant field.
2. Desirable Qualification: Working knowledge of computer application such as MS Office etc
3. Experience in the relevant field: Minimum Twenty years of experience in the field of duty free business.
4. Scope of Work: (a) To ensure efficient day today working of DFS, Chennai or any other shop(s) and increase profitability. (b) To supervise and co-ordinate the working of Duty Free Shops at Krishnapatinam, Cochin, Kakinada, Vishakapatnam, Tuticorin, and Ennore and ensure profitability and any other Duty Free Shops as directed by the Management. (c) Clearance & bonding of imported consignments of Chennai & other shops.
5. Pay Scale: Rs.16400-40500(IDA) under revision / Rs.15600-39100+5400GP(CDA) or equivalent revised scales.
6. Period of Contract and Age Limit: The engagement of retired official would be made initially for a period of one year subject to further extensions entirely on need basis and satisfactory performance. However, maximum age for holding contractual appointment shall be upto the age of 63 years. The upper age limit for applying shall not be more than 61 years as on 1st June 2018.

Selection Process:
(i) A person against whom a disciplinary or criminal proceeding is pending or is medically unfit shall not be eligible.
(ii) Further, the engagements under this scheme shall be subject to :-
a. “Very Good” and above performance of the candidate as per APARs for 5 years preceding the date of superannuation.
b. Vigilance clearance at the time of retirement and
c. Medical fitness. (iii)No employee against whom a charge sheet has been issued and penalty imposed during 5 years prior to date of retirement or any penalty imposed subsequently shall be considered for contractual engagement
