Qualification Details:
i. Qualification: The concerned individuals should be postgraduate in Humanities with one of the above languages at the graduation level or vice versa with an aptitude for simultaneous interpretation. This qualification can be relaxed in the case of deserving candidates.
ii. Salary: A remuneration of Rs. 6,000/- would be paid for every assignment of simultaneous interpretation of the speech and its translation to the individuals/Retired government servants empanelled as Consultant Interpreters, whereas the Serving officials or the Government/ Lok Sabha, Rajya Sabha Secretariats would be entitled 1k)r for the same. Candidates from outside Parliament I louse premises would be entitled for conveyance gharges as applicable under the rules. Suitable remuneration would be paid to the selected candidates during training also.
Age: The minimum age limit is 25 years and there is no upper age limit. The empanelled persons will be provided due training in simultaneous interpretation by the Simultaneous Interpretation Service of the Rajya Sabha Secretariat.
