JOINT DIRECTOR OF TEXTILES (HANDLOOM-SPINING MILLS-SILK WEAVING-HANDLOOM BASED HANDICRAFTS DIVISION) UNDER THE MICRO, SMALL AND MEDIUM ENTERPRISES AND TEXTILES DEPARTMENT, GOVT. OF WEST BENGAL
1. Qualification: (i) A degree in Textiles Technology from a recognized University or Institute, or Diploma in Handloom Technology from Institute affiliated by the Government. (ii) 06 (six) years practical experience in a responsible position in a Government Department or undertaking or reputed commercial concern dealing with Handloom and Textile Industry. (iii) Knowledge of Bengali- speaking and writing
2. Pay: PB – 4A (Rs.15,600/- – Rs. 42,000/-) plus Grade pay of Rs. 6,600/-

DISTRICT MASS EDUCATION EXTENSION OFFICER / ASSISTANT DIRECTOR, MASS EDUCATION EXTENSION / CHIEF SUPERINTENDENT, STATE WELFARE HOME, BANIPUR IN WBES UNDER THE DEPARTMENT OF MASS EDUCATION EXTENSION AND LIBRARY SERVICES , GOVT. OF WEST BENGAL.
1. No of Vacancy: SIXTEEN [THREE RESERVED FOR SC, TWO FOR ST, TWO FOR OBC CATEGORY ‘A’, ONE FOR OBC CATEGORY ‘B’ CANDIDATES AND ONE FOR PERSONS WITH DISABILTIES ( BLINDNESS/ LOW VISION)]

Qualification Details:
ASSISTANT ARCHITECT IN THE WEST BENGAL GENERAL SERVICE UNDER THE PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT, GOVT. OF WEST BENGAL.
1. No of Vacancy: EIGHT (TWO RESERVED FOR S.C., ONE FOR S.T., ONE FOR O.B.C. CATEGORY ‘A’ AND ONE FOR O.B.C. CATEGORY ‘B’ CANDIDATES)
2. Essential: (i) A Degree in Architecture from a recognized University or equivalent qualification in terms of Section 14 of the Architects Act, 1972 & (ii) The candidate shall be registered with the Council of Architecture in terms of the Architects Act, 1972
Age: Not more than 36 years on 01.01.2018

Information:
1. All the degrees/diplomas/certificates mentioned in the advertisement must have been obtained from recognized Universities/Institutions.The prescribed ‘essential qualifications’ are the minimum and mere possession of the same does not entitle applicants to be called in for the interview. Where the number of applications received in response to the advertisement is large and it is not convenient or possible for the Commission to interview all the applicants the Commission may restrict the number of candidates for interview to a reasonable limit on the basis of either higher qualifications in the relevant subjects/higher standard of marks/grade obtained in the essential qualifications or experience in relevant field higher than the minimum prescribed in the advertisement or on the basis of a Screening Test/Written Test. The Commission may fix qualifying cut-off marks for all the categories of the vacancies in each level of examination, i.e. written, interview and aggregate.
2. The benefits of reservation of vacancies and upper age concession upto 5 years are admissible only to S.C. and S.T. candidates of West Bengal and upto 3 years to O.B.C. (category ’A’ & ‘B’) candidates of West Bengal. Such benefits are also available upto the age of 45 years for Persons with disabilities. S.C., S.T. and B.C. candidates of other States may apply for unreserved vacancies as general candidates
3. All requisite certificates regarding educational qualifications, proof of age, other relevant experience certificates and other requisite documents must be furnished as and when required by the Commission.

The Examination will be held in two successive stages: - (i) Written Examination and (ii) Personality Test
