Advisor:

Qualification Details: 
Filling up the posts of Advisor (Banking), Sr. Advisor (Foreign Trade or Foreign Exchange), Dy. Advisor (Foreign Trade or Foreign Exchange) and Sr. Advisor (Taxation) on deputation (including short term contract) basis in Central Bureau of Investigation
1. PB-3 (15600-39100) with GP 7600 (Pre-revised) (Level 12 - as per 7th CPC)

2. Period of deputation: Period of deputation (including short-term contract) including period of deputation (including short-term contract) in another ex-cadre post held immediately preceding this appointment in the same or some other organization or department of the Central Government shall ordinarily not to exceed four years.

3. (a) (i) holding analogous posts on regular basis in the parent cadre or department; OR (ii) with five years' service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in the PB-3 (15600-39100) plus Grade Pay 6600 (Pre-revised) or equivalent (Level 11 - as per 7 th CPC) in the parent cadre or department; and

4. Possessing the following educational qualifications and experience: Essential: (i) Bachelors degree from a recognized University.

5. Ten years experience of inspection or vigilance or operational work in the field of Banking. Desirable: Bachelor's degree in Law from a recognized University; OR A qualification recognized for enrollment in the register of members of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India; OR Certified Associates of Indian Institutes of Bankers.

6. Job Profile: This post is to provide technical assistance/expertise in investigation of cases involving Banking, Inspection, operational work and to supervise the work of other technical officers working under him, if any.

Age: The maximum age limit for appointment by deputation shall be not exceeding 56 years as on the closing date for receipt of applications.

Senior Advisor:

Qualification Details: 
1. Sr. Advisor (Foreign Trade or Foreign Exchange):
a. Period of deputation: Period of deputation (including short-term contract) including period of deputation (including short-term contract) in another ex-cadre post held immediately preceding this appointment in the same or some other organization or department of the Central Government shall ordinarily not to exceed five years
b. Pay Scale: PB-4 ( 37,400-67000) with GP Z 8900 (Pre-revised) (Level 13A - as per 7th CPC)

2. Sr. Advisor (Taxation): Period of deputation . (including short-term contract) including period of deputation (including short-term contract) in another ex-cadre post held immediately preceding this appointment in the same or some other organization or department of the Central Government shall ordinarily not to exceed five years PB-4 (37,400-67000) with GP  8900 (Pre-revised) (Level 13A — as. per 7th CPC)

3.  Sr. Advisor (Foreign Trade or Foreign Exchange):  Eligibility conditions for appointment on deputation (including short term contract basis): Officers under the Central Government or State Governments or Union Territories or Government Financial Institutions including RBI, NABARD, SIDBI or Public Sector Financial Institutions (including Public Sector Banks):
(i) holding analogous posts on regular basis in the parent cadre or department; OR
(ii) with two years service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in the PB-4 (37,400-67000) plus Grade Pay Rs. 8700 (Pre-revised) or equivalent (Level 13 — as per 7" CPC) in the parent cadre or department; and (b) Possessing the following educational qualifications and experience:-

4. Essential: Bachelor's degree from a recognized University. Twelve years experience of inspection or vigilance or operational work in the field of Foreign Trade or Foreign Exchange.

5. Desirable: Bachelor's degree in Law from a recognized University; OR A qualification. recognized for enrollment in the register of members of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India; OR Diploma in Taxation Laws from a recognized University or Institute; OR Post Graduate Degree or Diploma from a recognized university of one year's duration in foreign trade or international business.

6. Job Profile: This post is to provide technical assistance/expertise in investigation of cases involving Foreign Trade/Exchange, Inspection, Operational work and to supervise the work of other technical officers working under him, if any.

7. Pay Scale PB-4 (37400-67000/-) with GP Z 8900 (Pre-revised) (Level 13A as per 7th CPC)

Deputy Advisor:

Qualification Details: 
1. PB-3 (15600-39100) with GP Z 5400 (Pre-revised) (Level 10 - as per 71h CPC)

2. Period of deputation: Period of deputation (including short-term contract) including period of deputation (including short-term contract) in another ex-cadre post held immediately preceding this appointment in the same or some other organization or department of the Central Government shall ordinarily not to exceed three years

3. Eligibility conditions for appointment on deputation (including short term contract basis): Officers under the Central Government or State Governments or Union Territories or Government Financial Institutions including RBI, NABARD, SIDBI or Public Sector Financial Institutions (including Public Sector Banks):

4. a. holding analogous posts on regular basis in the parent cadre or department; OR
b. Two years service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in the PB-2 (9300-34800) plus Grade Pay 4800 (Pre-revised) or equivalent (Level 8 - as per 7 th CPC) in the parent cadre or department; OR 
c. with three years' service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in the PB-2 ( 9300-34800) plus Grade Pay 4600 (Pre-revised) or equivalent (Level 7 - as per 7 th CPC) in the parent cadre or department; and (b) Possessing,the following educational qualifications and experience:-

5. Essential: (1) Bachelor's degree from a recognized University. Three years experience of inspection or vigilance or operational work in the field of Foreign Trade or Foreign Exchange.

6.
