Qualification Details:
1. A Degree or its equivalent from a recognized university 12 (+2 stage) or its equivalent from a recognized Board/University and for the skill test prescribed dictation speed of 80 W.P.M. duration time 10 minutes and transcription time is 50 minutes (English) and 65 minutes (Hindi) for the post of Jr. Stenographer, OR A pass in ISt year of B. Sc (Physics) or, a pass in 10+2 stage in Higher Secondary in Science (Math or Physics) for the post of Electrical Signal Maintainer-II in S&T Dept.
2. 12th (+2 stage) or its equivalent recognized Board/University OR A pass in Matriculation or its recognized Board and having ITI appIy to be poted as Tech-Ill examination from a equivalent from a certificate may also.
3. The applications for Level- 4/5 (Group 'C' Sixth P.c Pay Band 5200-20200+GP 2400/2800) and Level-2/3 (Group 'C' Sixth P.C Pay Band 5200-20200+GP 1900/2000)

Important Instructions:
1. Candidates fulfilling the eligibility criteria should submit their application form in good quality A/4 size paper in prescribed format given in notification duly completed in all respects with self attested photo copies of necessary enclosures (certificate of age, education, sports achievements, caste/community etc.)
2. Application should be filled up by candidates in their own hand writing either in Hindi or in English language using blue/black ball point pen. Candidate should write his/her name, father's name/husband's name in capital letters as given in Educational Certificate.
3. Candidate should also indicate other particulars as have been asked in the application form. One recent passport size colour photograph (4cm x 5cm), should be affixed on the application form without fail. The Photo may preferably not be older than 3 months as on the date of applying. The photo should clearly reveal the full face, should be sharp and clear.
4. Signature of the applicant must be full and in running hand, not in block/capital letter or disjointed letters. Candidates are required to sign in English or in Hindi in the prescribed places provided in the application form.
5. If Left Thumb Impression (LTI) not affixed/blurred/ smudged, on the application form, the application will be liable to be rejected. Candidate should clearly indicate the specific sports discipline, event, and position applied for as given in Para I above (like as e.g. Fast Bowler/Wicket Keeper e.t.c.
6. Applicant should possess requisite educational qualification and sports achievements before the opening date of notification. Candidates belonging to SC/ST/Minorities/EconomicaIly Backward Class, claiming for less fee as mentioned in para 5 (ii), must attach self attested photocopy of requisite Caste Certificate/Minority Certificate or self-declaration/lncome Certificate. Otherwise their candidature will be summarily rejected.
Selection Procedure:
1. Selection will be based upon performance in Sports Trials, Interview and assessment of sports achievement & educational qualification etc. Selection will be conducted by North Western Railway, Headquarter, Jaipur.
2. Short-listed eligible candidates will be called for Trial of sports performance. Trials of the candidates shall be conducted by Trial Committee to assess their sports performance and suitability for Railway/Unit team as well as Indian Railways team
How to Apply:
1. Applications duly filled in prescribed format along with required Self Attested documents should be sent only by Ordinary Post in a closed envelope or dropped in the application box provided for the purpose in the address mentioned in the table below. Applications sent by Registered Post/Speed Post/Courier/By Registered AD will not be accepted. No receipt will be given at any counter.
2. On the top of the envelope "APPLICATION FOR RECRUITMENT AGAINST SPORTS QUOTA FOR THE YEAR 2018-19" should be super scribed. Any deficiency/discrepancy found in the application form and documents submitted by the applicant will render the application invalid.
3. Candidates can send ordinary post (Courier post/Registered post/Speed post will not be accepted) to Assistant Personnel Officer (Recruitment), Railway Recruitment Cell, North Western Railway, Power House Road, Opp. DRM Office, Jaipur — 302006 or dropped in the Application Box kept in the office of RRC, Jaipur up to 17.00 hrs. of the closing date i.e. 20.08.2018.
4. For candidates residing in Assam, Meghalaya, Manipur, Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram, Nagaland, Tripura, Sikkim, Jammu & Kashmir, Lahaul & Spiti Districts and Pangi Sub-Division of Chamba District of Himachal Pradesh, Andaman & Nicobar and Lakshadweep islands and for candidates residing abroad, the closing date for receipt applications by Ordinary Post will be 04.09.2018 up to 17.00 hrs. Applications received after closing date and time will not be entertained.
