Educational Qualification:
Grade-I
Must be holder of Degree in Law from a recognized University.
Must be practising as an Advocate in Courts of Civil and Criminal jurisdiction
on the last date fixed for receipt of applications and must have been so practising for a period of not less than 7 (seven) years as on such date.
Must have attained the age of 35 (thirty five) years and must not have
attained the age of 48 (forty eight) years in the case of candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes or Scheduled Tribes and 45 (forty five) years in the case of others, as on the last date fixed for receipt of applications.
Grade-III
Must be holder of a Degree in Law granted by a recognized University established by law in India.
Must not have completed, as on the last date fixed for receipt of applications 43 years of age in the case of candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes or Scheduled Tribes and 38 years of age in the case of others.

Pay Scale:
Grade-I of Assam Judicial Service in the scale of pay of Rs. 51550-1230-58930-138063070/- per month plus other allowances as admissible under the Rules
Grade-III of Assam Judicial Service in the scale of pay of Rs. 27,700-770-33,090-92040,450-1080-44,770/- per month plus other allowances as admissible under the Rules.
Selection Process:
Selection will be done as per Preliminary Examination (Screening Test), Main Written Examination and Viva Voce/ Interview
