Qualification Details:
Applications are invited for Flling one (1) post of Hindi Translator in the Customs, Central Excise & Service Tax, Settlement Commission, Principal Bench, New Delhi on deputaton basis. The pay details ard eligibility criteria of the same are as under:
1. HINDI TRANSLATOR
2. Pay Scale; Rs. 9300-34800+4200 (Revised Level-6 as per 7th CPC)
3. Number of Post: 01 (Delhi)
4. Eligibility Criteria: From amongst officers under Central Govemment:
i) Holding analogous posts on regular basis; or
ii) Three (3) years in regular Service at Pay Scale of Level-5 (revised) as per 7th CPC;
iii) Five (5) years in regular Service at Pay Scalo of Level-4 (revised) as per 7th CPC; and
a) Having Masters Degree of a recognized University in Hindi'English with English/ Hindi as a main subject at tho degree level: or
b) Master's Degree of a recognized University in any subject with Hindi as a medium of instruction and examination with English as a compulsory subject at the degree level:
c) Bachelor's Degree Wilh Hindi and English as main subject or cither of the two as medium of examinatico and other as main subject plus recognized Diploma/Certificate Course in translation from Hindi to English and vice versa or two years experience of translation work from Hindi to English and vice versa in Contral,'State Government Offices.
5. The period of deputation shall be initially for one year extendable up to three years. The pay of the officers.iofficials selected will be regulated in accordanco with DOPT instructions
Age: The maximum age limit for appointment Shall not exceed 56 years as on the closing date of receipt of applicatons.
