1. Post Name: Chief Engineer (CE/ Project)
2. No. of vacancies: Two (2) nos. in SAG/SG on deputation
3. Location: USBRL Project, J&K.
4. Deputation and Term of deputation: 3 years normal term of deputation. The deputation period in no case will exceed five (05) years.
5. Scale of Pay: SAG in 7th CPC Pay Matrix -14 (in 6th CPC, PB-04, Rs.37400-67000 with Grade pay Rs. 10000/-) OR SG in 7th CPC Pay Matrix -13 (in 6th CPC, PB-04, Rs.37400-67000 with Grade pay Rs. 8700/-)
6. Pay and Allowances: The officer will draw pay which would have been admissible to him/her from time to time on the Railway plus deputation (duty) allowance.
7. Eligibility, Experience and Specific Requirement, if any:
i. Eligibility :- IRSE Officer working in PML14 of 7th CPC or Civil Engineering Executives working in other PSU in IDA scale E8 (Rs.1,20,000-2,80,000)
ii. Officers of IRSE cadre of Indian Railways and working in PML-13 of 7th CPC with two years experience in level-13 or Civil engineering Executives working in other PSU in IDA scale E7 (Rs.1,00,000- 2,60,000) with two years experience in the Scale.
8. Experience:- Minimum working experience of 14 years of service in Group A or Executive cadre of CPSUs, out of which at least three years’ experience should be in Planning, Execution, Design, DPR, Detailed Engineering Contract & Project Management of Large scale infrastructure Project of Railways including construction of Bridge, Tunnel and station Building etc
9. Job Description :- The Officer shall be primarily responsible for Planning, Execution of construction of Bridges, Tunnels, Station Buildings and approach Road works related to USBRL Project. Including Design and Drawings, Execution and monitoring of Progress of Project.
10. The Officer is also required to coordinate and liaise with all connected agencies and other related Organizations including Northern Railway, RDSO, CRS and Govt of J&K (UT).
11. The date to which KRCL is exempted from the rule of immediate absorption: Three years w.e.f. 01.05.2019
12. Retention of railway accommodation during deputation tenure in KRCL: Retention of Railway accommodation is permissible as per Board's guidelines issued from time to time.
13. Perks and Benefits:
i. The officer will draw pay which would have been admissible to him/her from time to time on the Railway plus deputation (duty) allowance.
ii. Additional allowances and incentives are admissible for this project which is attached
