Sub: Empanelment of Honorary Visiting Specialists. Medical Director, Central Hospital, Maligaon for & on behalf of President of India invites applications for empanelment of Honorary Visiting Specialist (HVS) in each of the specialist of Obstetric & Gynecology, Cardiology, Neurology, Gastroenterology and Orthopedics.

1. Name of the Post: Honorary Visiting Specialists
2. Education qualification & experience:
a) Super specialist — minimum qualification will be post doctoral qualification, DM/MCH or equivalent.
b) Post-graduate degree from recognized university. Minimum 3 years experience in the professional work related to concerned specialty in case of post graduate degree.
3. Current rate of honorarium to be paid:
a) 4 hours a day for 6 days/ week: Specialist - Rs. 78,000/- PM, Super Specialist - Rs. 96,000/- PM
b) 4 hours a day for 4 days/ week: Specialist - Rs. 48,000/- PM, Super Specialist - Rs. 60,000/- PM
c) 4 hours a day for 2 days/ week: Specialist - Rs. 24,000/- PM, Super Specialist - Rs. 30,000/- PM
OR
a) 2 hours a day for 6 days/ week: Specialist - Rs. 52,000/- PM, Super Specialist - Rs. 64,000/- PM
b) 2 hours a day for 4 days/ week: Specialist - Rs. 32,000/- PM, Super Specialist - Rs. 40,000/- PM
c) 2 hours a day for 2 days/ week: Specialist - Rs. 16,000/- PM, Super Specialist - Rs. 20,000/- PM
4. Free railway passes: one set of complimentary railway pass valid all over Indian Railway & Konkan Railway in AC two tier including Rajdhani Express and in AC Chair Car of Shatabdi Express for self, spouse and dependent children (as per rules applicable for Railway employees) will be made available as per the entitlement of Selection grade officers in each calendar year.
5. Tenure of working: Each time the offer is for a year only. After expiry of one year, extension can be given on yearly basis subject to age limit.

Age: Age profile: During first time engagement, the preferred age is between 30 years to 64 years. Upper age limit of continued engagement is 65 years.
