I. Applications in the prescribed proforma trough proper channel are itvited from the candidates for the gosts of Senior Translation Officer who possess tte following criteria :
aticersfOfficials of the Central Govemment f State Government f Union Territory -
(a) (i) Holding analogous post on regular basis in the parent cadre or or (iO with five year's service in the grade rendered after appointment in the posts on regular basis in the Pay Band-2 of Rs.93m-340 and Grade Pay of Rs.4200 or equivalent in the parent cadre or Department; and
(b) Possessing educational and other qualifications laid down below.
Educajonal Qualificaton:- Masters Degree of a University in Hindi or English with English or Hindi as a main subject at degree level. OR Masters degree of recognized University in any subject with Hindi as the medium of instruction and
with English as compulsory subject at degree level OR Bachelor's degree With Hindi and English as main subjæt or either of the two as medium of examination and other as a main pus recogrised Diplomacertificate Course in translation frffn Hindi to English and vice versa or two years experiencre tanslatlon work from Hindi to English and vice versa in Certral/State Govemment office, including Govt. of India undertakings.

1. The eligible canddates huing requisite service/ qualification as specified above may send their bio-data (proforma enclosed) through proper channel so as to reach the Addl. In case no applications are received by tlis Mice. it will be presumed thd there are no eligible Milling officials for the said post. While forwarding the bio-dda by the respective Head of Ctficef Department, it may also be ensured that the particulars ot the candidates are verified and certified and they' tiffil the eligibility criteria specified.

The period of deputation including the period of deputdion in ancther ex-cadre post held immediately preceding tt-iS .poirtmert in the same or some other organization/ departmert of the Central govemmert shall ordinarily not exceed 3 years. 4.Attested copies of the APARS/ ACRs for the last five years should be enclosed along with the application. It may also be ensured that no vigilance/ disciplinary proceedings are pending or contemplated against the official concerned. It iS categorically stated that the Officials appoinEd on deputation would not be absorbed in tie Department in any case. As this is done on the basis of old RR of Senior Hindi Translator, it any change occurred on the publicabon ct new RR, the new pmcedure will be followed accordingly.
5. The applicants wno volunteer for the post will nct be permitted to withdraw their candidature subsequently and only such applications which are duly forwarded by the office and accompanied by the APARs and Vigilance Clearance will be cmsidered.
