Bharat Electronics Limited, a Navartna Company and India’s premier professional electronics Company under the Ministry of Defence, requires the following personnel on temporary basis for its Panchkula unit.
1. Name of the Post: Trainee Engineer -I
2. No of Post: 55
3. Consolidated Remuneration (per month): Trainee Engineers will be engaged initially for a period of ONE year which may be extended upto a maximum of Three years (including initial period) based on requirement and individual’s performance. Candidates will be paid a consolidated remuneration of Rs. 25,000/- per month for the 1st year, Rs. 28,000/- for 2nd year and Rs. 31,000/- for 3rd year.
4. Qualification for Trainee Engineer and Project Engineer: 4 Years Full time BE/ B.Tech course from reputed Institute/University in the following Engineering discipline –
a) Electronics - Electronics/ Electronics& Communication/ Electronics & Telecommunication/ Telecommunication/ Communication
b) Mechanical
c) B.E./ B.Tech in the Engineering disciplines mentioned above with First Class for General, EWS & OBC candidates & Pass Class for SC/ST/PwD Candidates. Candidates must possess all years/ semesters mark sheets and Degree certificates. Method of conversion of CGPA to percentage has to be attached. Applications without the conversion certificate will be rejected.
5. Post Qualification Experience: Engineering graduates in the indicated disciplines can apply for the post of Trainee Engineer - I. Freshers should have completed 8th semester examinations and all other requirements for award of Engineering Degree in 2021 and should produce Provisional Degree Certificate / Engineering Degree Certificate at the time of joining. Candidates who are currently still pursuing Engineering Degree or have backlog papers from previous semesters, need not apply.

Document Required:
i) Passport Size Photograph/Digital Signature

iv) B.E/ B.Tech. Degree certificate (as applicable). In case of CGPA or credits system of assessments, the candidates are required to attach the formula for conversion of CGPA/Credits to percentage in accordance with the respective University norms.
v) All semester Marks Sheets/Final consolidated marks sheet.
vi) Caste/ Tribe/ Community/Disability/Income/ Economic Status certificate in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/PWD/EWS respectively. Candidates claiming reservation under any of the above categories are required to submit the certificate in the prescribed format. The formats of various certificates are provided as link to the advertisement. Candidates belonging to OBC category should possess the certificate issued on or after 01.10.2020.Candidates belonging to EWS category are required to possess the certificate for the year 2021-22.
vii) Post qualification work experience certificate/s from previous / current employer is compulsory. Where current employment certificate is not produced, the Offer of current appointment, Employee ID proof and latest pay slip should be compulsorily attached.
viii) Candidates if working in PSUs/Govt. organizations should compulsorily submit ‘No Objection Certificate’ at the time of application or interview.
ix) Valid ID Proof: PAN Card/ Voter ID/ Aadhaar Card etc
General:
1. Selected candidates are required to be obtain a medical insurance cover for a sum of Rs.2 lakhs per annum and submit the same on joining. In addition to the remuneration indicated, a consolidated amount of Rs.10,000/- per year will be paid towards expenses like medical insurance premium, attire allowance, stitching charges, footwear allowance, etc.
2. Only Indian nationals need to apply.
3. The postings will be done based on the Company’s requirement.
4. The posts indicated above may vary based on the actual requirement at the time of selection.
5. Screening and selection will be based on the details provided by the candidates, hence it is necessary that only accurate, full and correct information is furnished by the applicants. Furnishing of wrong/false information and inaccurate or incomplete information will be disqualified and BEL will not be responsible for any consequence of furnishing such wrong /false/ inaccurate/ incomplete information.
6. Candidates whose specialization mentioned in the degree certificate does not tally with the branch mentioned in the application will not be considered for selection.

8. In the event it is found that candidates have disclosed false information in the application form, BEL reserves the right to disqualify their candidature at any stage during the selection process.
9. It may please be noted that submission of online application under factious/ pseudo names/ email IDs is strictly prohibited. Any candidate resorting to such practices will be liable for suitable action under the provisions of IT Act 2000.
10. Candidates are required to possess at least one valid e-mail ID. Candidates are advised to keep the email ID(to be entered compulsorily in the online application form) active for at least one year. No change in the email ID will be allowed once entered. All correspondence with candidates shall be done through email only. Responsibilities of receiving and downloading of information/ communications etc. will be of the candidate. BEL will not responsible for bouncing of e-mails, nonreceipt of e-mails due to invalid e-mail IDs, setting options exercised by the candidate, etc. and no correspondence in this regard will be entertained.
11. Request for change of Mailing address/ email ID/ category/ posts as declared in the online application will not be entertained.
12. here will be no separate communication to any candidates on their non-selection at any stage.
13. Candidates may also be deployed to work on other projects / outstation sites, based on exigencies of work.
14. 15. Short listing of candidates will be carried out purely based on the information declared by candidates in the online application form. If at any further stage of selection, it is found that candidates have declared false information w.r.t. their credentials, BEL reserves the right to debar them at any stage of selection.
Selection Procedure :
A merit list of all eligible candidates who meet the qualifying criteria specified in the advertisement will be prepared, based on the aggregate percentage obtained in B.E./B.Tech and work experience, as indicated below:
a) Aggregate Marks secured in BE/ B.Tech.: 75 %
b) Relevant Post Qualification experience/ 2.5 marks will be allocated for minimum experience stipulated for the post. 1.25 marks will be allocated for every additional experience of 6 months subject to a maximum of 10 marks: 10 %
c) Interview for shortlisted candidates: 15%
1.Candidates have to compulsorily provide the CGPA conversion to percentage of marks as per the guidelines provided by their University.
2.Candidates will be shortlisted in the order of merit based on marks obtained in BE/ B.Tech and number of years of experience as indicated above in the ratio of 1:5. Only those candidates who are shortlisted will be called for the interview.
3.The names of the candidates shortlisted for interviews will be notified on our Company’s website.
4.Candidates who will be shortlisted for the interview are required to download their interview call letter.
5.The results of the final selection will be available on BEL website.
