Qualification Details:
Applications are invited from willing eligible Hindu candidates, who have been retired on superannuation or on VRS from the said post from State Government Departments, undertaking and Public Sector of TamilNadu Government, only through post/ person for direct recruitment to the posts existing in Engineering Wing in the HR&CE Department all over Tamilnadu on contract basis (for minimum period of 1 year or till candidates are appointed under direct recruitment whichever occurs earlier) (herein caled the Department):

5. Qualification: Should be retired from Government Service in the cadre of Draughting Officer in Public Works Department or Equivalent cadre in other Departments / Government undertakings
6. Knowledge In Tamil: Applicants should possess adequate knowledge in Tamil on the date of this Notification. Candidates who have been punished by the Government under disciplinary proceedings are not eligible for this post.

Selection Process :
1. Application of the candidates will be scrutinized and eligible candidates will be called for verification before a panel of Engineers Headed by the Commissioner.
2. The selected candidates are required to work for a for minimum period of 1 year or till candidates are Appointed under direct recruitment whichever occurs earlier from the date of appointment. Uini The rule of reservation of appointments is not applicable to this recruitment.
