Applications are invited for the post of Guest Teachers in English, Geography, Weaving & Rabindra Sangit at Siksha Satra, Visva-Bharati, Sriniketan.

4. Essential Qualification
English, Geography- (i) Master Degree in English and Geography respectively from a recognized University Institution with at least 50% marks in aggregate.
(ii) B.Ed or equivalent degree in English and Geography respectively from recognized University.
(iii) Pass the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) conducted by the CBSE in accordance with the Guidelines framed by the NCTE for the purpose. OR Teacher Eligibility Test conducted by the various states. Working knowledge in Bengali/ English/Hindi Medium.
b) Desirable Qualification: Knowledge of Computer Applications.
a) Weaving - Essential Qualification: Five years Diploma in Weaving from a recognized Institution. OR BFA or its equivalent Degree from a recognized institution.Working knowledge in Bengali/ English/Hindi medium.
b) Desirable Qualification Knowledge of Computer Applications.
a) Rabindra Sangit - Essential Qualification: Senior Secondary School Certificate with 50% marks or Intermediate with 50% marks or its equivalent and Bachelor Degree in Rabindra Sangit or equivalent from a recognized University/ Institution. Working knowledge in Bengali/ English/ Hindi / Medium. Desirable Qualification: Knowledge of Computer Applications.
b) Desirable Qualification Knowledge of Computer Applications.
5.Remuneration of a Guest Teacher Maximum Rs. 12000/- (Twelve thousand) per month for taking at least 80 (eighty) periods per month.
Selection Procedure :
List of candidates selected for the interview will be notified on Visva-Bharati website. No separate call letter will be issued. The date of online interview will be intimated accordingly.
