West Bengal State Health & Family Welfare Samiti will engage personnel for the position of Community Health Officer (CHo) under National Health Mission, Department of Health and Family Welfare, Government of West Bengal, purely on contractual basis.
1. Name of the Position :Community Health Officers (CHO)
2. Place of posting: SC-Suswasthya Kendra anywhere in the state of West Bengal.
3. Number of vacancy: 1500 (SC-330, ST-90, OBC-(A) 150, OBC (B) -105, and General-780, Reserved for person with Disabilities-45}
4. Consolidated Remuneration :(i) Rs. 20, 000.00 per month
ii) In addition the CHOs will also get a maximum incentive of Rs 5000/ per month as Performance linked incentives based on approved parameters.
5. Essential Qualification :
(i) Passed BAMS from a recognised Institute/ University
(ii)They must have updated registration certificate/ provisional certificate from Paschim Banga Ayurved Parishad (West Bengal Ayurved Council)
(iii)The candidate should be a resident of West Bengal and should be able to read, write and speak Bengali.
6. Desirable criteria: Competency in Ms Office & Internet

Not exceeding 40 yrs (relaxation in age +5 years will be given for SC/ST/OBC Candidates as per extant rule and order in this regard.)

1. Only on-line Applications will be accepted. Applications forms not properly filled in or incomplete application forms are liable to be cancelled. If the online application details submitted by the applicant differ with the original testimonials, that application shall liable to be cancelled.
2. lf proper signature and photograph is not uploaded at the time of online application that application shall also liable to be cancelled.
3. The essential criteria mentioned are the minimum and mere possession of the same does not entitle the candidate to claim selection. All the essential qualification must be completed on or before the first date of online application.
4. Hard copy/ print copy of the online registration form (printed within the last date of online application), should be retained by all applicants for document verification_ purpose. Without registration form, no candidates will be entertained for original testimonials verification by the authority. No need to send hard copy/ print copy of the online registration form by post.
5. On-line registration no. should be retained by all applicants for future reference. Employer is not liable to give any information regarding the on-line registration no. in future.
6. Claim and/ or change of place of posting from the side of the applicant shali not be entertained before/ after issuance of appointment letter.
7. Marking after rounding off upto 2 decimal points will be considered.
8. i) Start date of Application : From 11 am of 2" November, 2021.
ii) Last date of Registration : Midnight of 10th November, 2021.
iii) Last date of submission of application fees : Midnight of 12th November, 2021.
iv) Last date of full submission of form : Midnight of 15th November, 2021.
9. The online deposition of application fees can be done through net banking or credit/ debit card system through an online interface. If the payment is successful, the candidate will be immediately reverted back to the link for final submission of the application form by using the application id already received at the time of Registration. Please do not deposit fee more than one time.
10. The candidate if found ineligible at any stage of recruitment process will not be called for the subsequent stages of the selection process.
11. The Decision of the Competent Authority regarding the recruitment is final.
12. The competent authorities may cancel the recruitment process at any stage of the selection process.

Selection Procedure :
1. The candidates will be selected for training through merit list based on academic result and interview.
2. Scale of scoring- Total 100 Marks 85% from written test and 15% from viva voce. The final merit will be prepared for appointment in any SC-SK in any District of West Bengal. Posting in any SC-SK in any district of West Bengal will be based on merit cum choice counselling.
