C-DAC Centre in North East (CINE) located at Silchar, Assam is looking for bright & result oriented professionals for the following positions in various projects for appointment on purely Contract basis for the following positions:

1. Name of the Post: Project Engineer (Software Development/Web Application)
2. No. of Posts: 04
3. Location: C-DAC, Silchar

5. Minimum Educational Qualification: First Class (60 % or equivalent CGPA) B.E/ B. Tech or equivalent degree in Computer Science/Information Technology/Electronics OR First Class (60% or equivalent CGPA) Post Graduate Degree in Computer Science/Masters in Computer Application OR M.E/M.Tech or equivalent degree in CSE/IT/Electronics
6. Minimum Post Qualification Relevant Experience: 0-4 years of experience in Software Design and Development.
7. Desirable Skills (in one or more topics): Java 8 and above, Spring Boot, Struts 2, Hibernate ORM, PostgreSQL, Bootstrap, Thymeleaf/JSP, Javascript, JQuery, CSS3, Knowledge of jasper reports and Microservices will be an added advantage.

5. Minimum Educational Qualification: 1st Class (60 %) B.E/ B. Tech ( Electronics & Communication / Telecommunication / Electronics/ Instrumentation/Computer Science) OR 1st class M.E/M. Tech in Micro-Electronics/ VLSI Design/ Electronics or equivalent OR PhD (in relevant domain)
6. Minimum Post Qualification Relevant Experience: 0-4 years of experience in relevant field as per job profile
7. Desirable Skills (in one or more topics): Hands-on experience in working with IoT System, Electronic System design, Circuits design, simulation, analysis, Debugging, ECAD tools, Signal Integrity/Power Integrity analysis tools, High speed board designs and analysis. Experience in working with IoT Sensor and system interfacing, Microcontrollers, Interfacing Peripherals, Memories, sensors, actuators, mechatronic/robotic components, power management system etc.

Tech or equivalent degree in Computer Science/Information Technology/Electronics OR First Class (60% or equivalent CGPA) Post Graduate Degree in Computer Science/Masters in Computer Application OR M.E/M.Tech or equivalent degree in CSE/IT/Electronics
6. Minimum Post Qualification Relevant Experience: 0-4 years of experience in relevant filed as per job profile.
7. Desirable Skills (in one or more topics): Proficient Knowledge in Public Key Cryptography, and major Network Security Protocols. Proficient Knowledge in Layer 4-7 protocols and their security audits. Proficiency in Python, Linux, Shell Programming, C and Java
8. Job Profile and other Skills: Experience in formulating Secure Network Architectures, policies etc. Experience in Managed Security Services over cloud. Experience in formulating Cyber Security Policy, conducting cyber security assessments, drills; Knowledge of cyber security capability maturity models

Important Notes:
1. The qualification and experience prescribed are the minimum requirements and possession of the same does not automatically make the candidates entitled for interview and selection processes. There will be an initial screening based on the academic and other parameters given in the resume and only those screened-in will be considered for further selection process.

6. In case of internal candidates, please note that employees working in a particular post cannot apply for the same post in the same centre.
7. In case of internal candidates, please note that the finally selected candidates will have to resign from the services and join the post as fresh employees.
8. C-DAC reserves the right to fill up the post or increase/decrease the number of posts or offer the lower post or even to cancel the whole or part of the process of recruitment without assigning any reason thereof.
9. C-DAC reserves the right to cancel or introduce any examination/Personal Interview/Other selection process. C-DAC also reserves the right to cancel/restrict/curtail/enlarge the recruitment process and/or the selection process without any notice and without assigning any reasons.
10. All the posts will be filled as per the Recruitment Rules or guidelines of C-DAC.
11. It is the responsibility of the candidates to assess his/her own eligibility for the post for which he/she is applying in accordance with the advertisement. In case, it is found at any point of time in future during process of selection or even after appointment that candidate was not eligible as per prescribed qualification, experience etc, which could not be found at the time of selection due to whatever circumstances, his/her candidature/appointment shall be liable to be cancelled/terminated as case may be.
12. Choosing a particular department does not entitled the candidate to be appointed in the same department itself. If selected, management reserves the right to put candidate in any department.
13. If required, the incumbents are posted at anywhere in India depends upon the project requirement.
14. No TA /DA will be provided for attending the online test/ interview.
15. For any dispute, Courts at Silchar, Assam will have the sole jurisdiction.
General Terms and Conditions:
a. Position mentioned are on contract for a fixed duration and against approved projects.
b. The positions are purely on contract basis on consolidated emoluments for a maximum period of 03 years'. However, contract will be extended every year upto 3 Years depending upon the annual performance review, subject to satisfactory performance and project requirement. C-DAC reserves the right to terminate the contract even during the agreed contract period or extended contract period without assigning any reason or by giving 45 days' prior notice or salary in lieu thereof.
c. C-DAC is involved in projects at various location across the India, hence selected candidate may be depute or transferred from one project to another as per the requirement of projects and at any project location across the India.
d. Duration and Skill required for the projects may vary as per the organizational requirements. Hnece, based on organizational requirements, the selected employee may be assigned any other responsibilities also.
e. The candidates engaged under this shall be on contract and shall not derive any right or claim to have a regular post/ appointment in C-DAC
f. The selected candidates will be eligible to apply for different/higher posts, on contract on consolidated pay basis, against internal notifications issued, if any from time to time.
g. The candidate selected against the above position may require to travel across the India as per project requirement.
h. In case of not availability of suitable candidates or candidates not poses the required skill, CDAC can offer post one level below to the advertise post to candidate.

Selection Process:
1. Applicants meeting the eligibility criteria will be informed by e-mail, to appear for a "written test/Interview". Selection will be based on interviews to be conducted at C-DAC, Silchar, Assam. Management reserves the right to change/modify the selection process at any time, during the process, at its discretion. The decision of the management will be final and binding.
2. Applicants having GATE score of 65% (normalized marks out of 100) and above, in the last two years, can be directly screened in for interview without written test. In the event of higher number of applicants, the benchmark of 65% can be increased as per discretion of the management.

1, Candidate are required to download the application form and send the scan copy after filled up to email id hrd-sil@cdac.in along with self attested copies of educational certificate/Makr sheets, Experience Certificate, caste certificate etc.
2. Before filling the online application form, Candidates should read 'General Terms and Conditions' carefully.
3. Candidate should read all the eligibility parameters and ensure that he/she is eligible for the post before submitting the application form.
4. Candidate should have a valid email id and mobile no. which should remain valid & active till the completion of selection process.
5. Fill all the details in the application form at the appropriate places.
6. Candidates should paste their recent photograph in the application form.
7. No hard copy/printed applications should be sent to C-DAC. Incomplete and defectively filled up forms shall be rejected straightway and no subsequent correspondences will be entertained in this regard.

9. Candidate working in Government/PSUs/Govt.
