3. Qualification:
a) Executive Trainees - Finance (CA/CMA): CA/CMA (previously ICWA) qualified from institute recognized by appropriate statutory authority in India, are eligible to apply.
b) Executive Trainees - Finance (MBA-Fin): Graduates with at least two years full time Post Graduate Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Post Graduate Program in Management with specialization in Finance or MBA with specialization in Finance from recognized Indian University/ Institutes recognized by appropriate statutory authority in India, with not less than 65% marks, as per respective university/institute norms.
c) Executive Trainees Human Resources: Graduates with at least two years full time Post Graduate Degree/ Post Graduate Diploma / Post Graduate Program in Management with specialization in Human Resource / Industrial Relations / Personnel Management or Masters in Social Work or MHROD or MBA with specialization in HR from recognized Indian University/ Institutes recognized by appropriate statutory authority with not less than 65% marks, as per respective university/institute norms.
4. Compensation Package: Selected candidates will be placed in the pay scale of Rs.40,000-1,40,000/- at the basic pay of Rs. 40,000/- (El Grade). The other benefits such as Dearness Allowance, other perquisites and allowances, terminal benefits, etc. will be admissible as per company rules in force from time to time during training / after absorption.
5. Placement: The selected candidates shall undergo one-year training at various places. The final place of posting will be decided after completion of training. Candidates can be placed, across the country, in any of projects/ stations including Subsidiaries/JVs companies of NTPC.

General Information and Instructions:
1. Only Indian Nationals are eligible to apply.
2. The candidate should ensure that he/she fulfills the eligibility criteria and other norms mentioned in the advertisement.
3. All qualifications should be from an Indian University / Institute recognized by AICTE / appropriate statutory authority.
4. All computations of age shall be done w.r.t. the last date of receipt of online application as mentioned in the advertisement.

11. Any proceedings in respect of any matter of claim or dispute arising out of this advertisement and / or an application in response thereto can be instituted only in Delhi and courts / tribunals / forums at Delhi only shall have sole and exclusive jurisdiction to try any such cause / dispute.
12. In case any ambiguity/dispute arises on account of interpretation in versions other than English, the English Version will prevail.
Selection Process:
Eligible candidates will have to appear for All India based Online Selection Test. The online selection test will have two parts i.e Subject Knowledge Test(SKT) & Executive Aptitude Test (EAT). The candidates are required to qualify both in Subject Knowledge Test(SKT) and Executive Aptitude Test (EAT), separately. Based on merit and requirement of the post; candidates will be short listed for Personal Interview. All shortlisted candidates after written test will have to secure minimum qualifying marks in Interview, as applicable. The final selection will be on the basis of 85% weightage of online selection test and 15% weightage of interview marks.
How to Apply:
1. Eligible candidates need to apply online on the website careers.ntpc.co.in or visit careers section at www.ntpc.co.in with their GATE-2021 registration number.
2. Candidates will be required to upload their photograph and signature during online application.
3. Read the instructions carefully and fill-in the online application form giving accurate information including the GATE-2021 registration number. After successful registration, system will generate a Unique Registration Number. Candidates are required to keep the printout of the Registration slip which will be generated by the system after successful registration.
4. Please ensure that the GATE-2021 registration number, which is mentioned on your GATE score card, is filled up correctly. Name should also be filled up as appearing in GATE score card. No request with respect to the change in any data entered by the candidate will be entertained once the application is submitted successfully.
5. Candidate belonging to General/EWS/OBC category is required to pay a non- refundable registration fee of Rs. 300/-. The SC/ST/PwBD/XSM category and female candidates need not pay the registration fee. The payment can be made either in online or offline mode.
6. Fee once paid will not be refunded under any circumstances. Candidates are therefore requested to verify their eligibility before paying the registration fee.
