5. Qualification:
a. Transfer Technology: Essential: M.Sc. in Agriculture/ Horticulture/ M.Sc. Microbiology/ M.Sc. Botany with minimum 55% marks. Desirable: Working knowledge in computer and experience in related field
b. :Crop Improvement Essential: M.Sc. Botany/ Biotechnology with minimum 55% marks. Desirable: Working knowledge in computer and experience in related field
c. Entomology Essential: M.Sc. Agricultural Entomology/ Zoology with minimum 55% marks.
d. Agronomoy & Soil Science Essential: M.Sc. Chemistry with minimum 55% marks Desirable: One year work experience in handling GC/ HPLC/ Soil Analytical works

Instructions to the candidates
a. Candidates appearing for the screening test should bring along all the necessary documents given below:
1. Passport size photograph
2. Original certificates for
a) Identity proof(Voter card, Aadhar card etc.)
b) Proof of Age
c) Caste Certificate
d) Proof of education and training
e) Publications, if any.
3. One set of self-attested photocopies of the above.
4. Those who have not yet received their final degree certificate need not appear in the test. The number of vacancies indicated is provisional and may vary at the time of selection.
5. The Board reserves the right to short- list applications for the second level test if required.
6. Those who have undergone training as SET/ SRT at Spices Board earlier need not apply.
