Education Qualification :
1. Position: Group General Manager (E8 level)
2. No of Post: 01 post each for South Zone & South Central Zone.
3. Location: Chennai (South Zone) and Secunderabad (South Central Zone).
4. Duration: Three years or till IRCTC is exempted from the rule of immediate absorption, whichever is earlier.
5. Term of appointment: On Deputation
6. Service: Group 'A' Services of Indian Railways other then IRPFS /IRHS
7. Scale of Pay: Rs.37400-67000 GP-10000 (6thCPc)/Level-14 (7thCPC), CDA pattern. -OR- Rs.37400-67000 GP-8700 (6thCPC)/Level-13 (7thCPC), CDA pattern with minimum 03 years service in 8700 GP/Level-13.
8. Job description:
Zonal GGM is over all in-charge of all administrative work, business and entire functions of the zone and is responsible for implementation of all policies and procedures, etc. issued by Corporate office. The post is required for smooth functioning of the Zone and also for liaisoning with Railway/Non-Railway Authorities. Note: Job/Posting may be changed as per business requirement.
9. Essential: Group 'A' services of Indian Railways other than IRPFS/IRHS
10. Desirable: Officer having IT exposure will be preferred. 2. Officer having the experience of Commercial Department of Indian Railways. The number of years of experience and nature of experience of the officer in the specitic areas as per requirement wil be taken into consideration.
