Indo Tibetan Border Police Force invites online applications from Male & Female Indian Citizens (including subject of Nepal & Bhutan) to fill up vacancies of Assistant Sub Inspector (Stenographer)/{Direct Entry (DE)/Limited Departmental Competitive Examination (LDCE)} Group "C Non Gazetted on temporary basis likely to be permanent in ITB Police Force in Pay Scale, Level-5 in the pay Matrix-Rs. 29,200-92,300 (as per 7h CPC).

1. Position: Assistant Sub Inspector/ Stenographer (Direct Entry) - Male
2. No of Posts: 19
3. Educational qualification: Intermediate or Senior Secondary School Certificate (10+2) examination from a recognized Board or University or equivalent.
4. Skill Test norms: a) Dictation - 10 minutes@ 80 words per minute. b) Transeription - 50 minutes in English or 65 minutes in Hindi on computer.

1. Position: ASI(Stenographer) (Limited Departmental Competitive Examination)
2. No of Posts: 17
3. Educational qualification: Intermediate or Senior Secondary School Certificate (10+2) examination from a recognized Board or University or equivalent.
4. Skill Test norms: a) Dictation - 10 minutes@ 80 words per minute. b) Transeription - 50 minutes in English or 65 minutes in Hindi on computer.
Age Limit
18 to 25 years. b) ASI (Steno) LDCE) (Only for ITBPF Serving Personnel): Up to 35 years
Application Fees
Rs. 100/- (Rupees One Hundred Only). Fee are exempted for females, Ex-Servicemen and candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) category.
Selection Process
1. The selection process will consist of Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Physical Standard Test (PST),. Written Test, Skill Test, Documentation and Detailed Medical Examination (DME) Review Medical Examination (RME).
2. Medical Examination to assess the fitness of candidates will be conducted in terms of Uniform Guidelines for Recruitment Medical Examination for GOs and NGOs in CAPFs and AR issued vide MHA U.O. No. A.VI-1/2014-Rectt(SSB) dated 20.05.2015 and as amended from time to time by the Government.
