4. Qualification:
a. Master's Degree of a recognised University or equivalent in Hindi or English with English or Hindi as a Compulsory or elective subject or as a medium of examination at Degree level:
b. OR Master's Degree of a recognised University or equivalent in any subject other than Hindi or. English, with Hindi or English medium and English or Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject or as a medium of examination at Degree level;
c. Master's Degree of a recognised University or equivalent in any subject other than Hindi or English, with Hindi and English as of ether compulsory wo as or elective subjects of either of the two as medium of examination and other as a compulsory or elective subject Degree level. at AND
d. Recognized Diploma or Certificate Course in translation from Hindi to Engllsh and vice versa or 2-years experience of translation work from Hindi to English and vice-versa in Central or State Government offices, including Undertaking. Government of India
e. Translation Training Course Certificate of three month duration awarded by Department of Official |Central Translation Bureau, M/o.Home Affairs.
5. General Departmental Competitive Examination (GDCE) Notification No.02/2022(GDCE) (Only Regular Serving Railway Employees of SWR and RWF/YNK are eligible to apply)

The upper age limit will be 42 years for General candidates, 45 years for OBCC candidates and 47 years for SC/ST candidates

1. Before applying, the Candidates should carefully read the instructions and ensure that he/she fulfills all the prescribed eligibility criteria at the time of ONLINE REGISTRATION of application as per the Notification.
2. The number of vacancies shown in this Notification are provisional and the same are liable to increase or decrease depending upon the actual needs of the administration at the time of finalization of selection.
3. The vacancies are to be filled up in Divisions/Units/Workshops/Headquarters of South Westen Railway.
4. The selected candidates are liable to be posted anywhere on South Western Railway
5. Decision of Railway Administration in this regard shall be final.
6. Railway Administration reserves the right to alter the mode of examinations or re-conduct the CBT examination or to cancel part or whole of any process of the selection at any stage without assigning any reason.
7. RRC reserves the right to conduct the examination in batches on various dates and locations as decided by the RRC
8. The selected employees under GDCE will have to pass the prescribed training courses prior to appointment to the post for which selected under GDCE wherever applicable.
9. The scheme of GDCE will be implemented according to the guidelines issued by Railway Board and will be binding on all.
Selection Process
1. A single stage Computer Based Test (CBT) will be conducted followed by a qualifying translation test.
2. The Question Paper shall be designed to test equally both the knowledge of English language as well as knowledge of Hindi language.
3. Atleast 50% of the questions will be designed to test language proficiency- 20% for English and 30% for Hindi.
4. The remaining questions will be designed to test General Knowedge, General Intelligence, Simple Arithmetic and basics of computer.
5. The standard of examination shall be like that of Direct Recruitment conducted by RRBs. The questions for the Computer Based Test (CBT) will generally be in conformity with the educational standards prescribed for the post.
6. Translation Test:
Translation Test shall not be a part of the main examination. Candidates 10 times the number of vacancies shall be called for the translation test, based on the merit of the objective type CBT, duly taking into account reservation requirements. GThe Translation Test shall be only a qualifying test and the qualifying pass marks shall be 60%.
(ii) Merit list of Junior Translator will be based on the marks obtained in the CBT alone. Those who do not qualify in translation test with 60% marks shall be disqualified.
7. The Computer Based Test (CBT) examination will be conducted by RRCISWR and the date of examinations will be notified by RRC/SWR in due course through SMS on registered mobile numbers & E-Mail address registered in the applications and on website of RRC/SWR.

1. Applications should be registered ONLINE by filling up the required details, as will be made available in the website of RRC/SWR ie., www.rchubli.in The application has to be fled up carefully duly following the steps and instructions as provided on the website.
2. The application portal will be open from 23-05-2022 till 22-06-2022 upto 23.45 hrs
3. In case any employee has any difficulty in registering his application ONILINE, they can use the Contact Us' button in the application portal. We will try to address your queries in two working days.

5. To avoid last minute rush, candidates are advised in their own interest to register their applications ONLINE well before the closing date, since there may be possibility of failure/ inability to log on to the website of RRC/SWR on account of heavy load on the internet or website jam during last days.
6. Candidates desiring to make any corrections in the application already filled can do so before being clicked FINAL SUBMISSION on ONLINE registration
7. After final submission and confirmation, no provision for editing the data is allowed.
8. The last date/ time for ONLINE registration is 22-06-2022 at 23.45 hrs.
