Subject: Filling Up Post Of Inspector (Librarian) (Group. 'B' Non Gazetted, Non-ministerial, Combatised) In Border Security Force On Deputation Basis. The Directorate General Border Security Force proposes to fill up two (02) posts of Inspector (Librarian) in BSF (General Central Service Group-B Non-Gazetted, Non- Ministerial, Combatised), in Level-7 of the pay matrix (Rs. 44900-142400) by deputation. The period of deputation will be initially for a period of one year extendable up to three years on year-to-year basis. The incumbent on selection for deputation for above post will be posted to BSF Academy Tekanpur (Madhya Pradesh) and BSF Training Centre & School, Hazaribagh.

3. Pay: Level-7 of the pay matrix (Rs. 44900-142400)
4. Qualification: Officers of the Central Government or State Government or Union Territory administrations:
(a) (i) holding analogous post on regular basis in the parent cadre or department; or
(ii) with five years' service rendered after appointment to the post on regular basis in level-6 of the pay matrix Rs.35400-112400/- or equivalent in the parent cadre or department; and
(b) Possessing the following educational and other qualifications:
i) Essential:- Bachelor Degree in Library Science or Library and Information Science from a recognized University or Institute.
ii) Experience: Two years' professional experience in a library under the Central Government or State Government or autonomous or statutory organisation or public sector undertaking or university or recognized research or educational institution.
(c) Desirable: (i) Master Degree in Library Science or Library and Information Science from a recognised University or Institute.
(ii) Diploma in Computer Applications from a recognised University or Institute.
Age Limit
The maximum age limit for appointment by deputation shall be not exceeding 52 years as on the closing date of receipt of application.
