Education Qualification :
Analyzing, providing conceptual back up and participating in the following tasks / aspects broadly related to Inventory reduction across various NTPC stations:
a) Identification of gaps/ areas for improvement in extant Policies / procedures / manuals/ Norms / DOP
b) Identification of policy initiatives to be taken up
c) Identification and facilitation required for policy advocacy with external stakeholders including CEA etc
d) Identification of gaps in implementation strategies in vogue hindering effective optimization of Inventory
e) Policies related to Capitalization of mandatory & O&M spares
f) Disposal of obsolete, surplus and unserviceable items
g) Restructuring and strengthening of the revised Stores Function at sites to streamline the “PO to Payment process”
h) Vendor managed Inventory and vendor performance
i) Pooled Spares
j) Reduction in NMIs
k) Any other key strategy / policy initiative to further streamline the procurement and inventory functions.
Period of engagement: 06 months (extendable upto 06 months)
Upper age limit: 64 years
