Qualification:
State Service Examination: A degree from a recognized university for cadres other than those mentioned below or recognized as equivalent to a degree by the Government of Maharashtra.
Maharashtra Civil Engineering Services: Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized University or equivalent qualification declared as equivalent by the Government of Maharashtra.
Maharashtra Electrical Engineering Services: Degree in Electrical Engineering from a recognized University or equivalent qualification declared as equivalent by the Government of Maharashtra.
Inspector, Metrology Service: Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Computer Engineering from a Constituent University or Degree in Science (one of which is Physics).
Food and Drug Administrative Service: Degree from a recognized University in Food Technology or Dairy Technology or Biotechnology or Oil Technology or Agricultural Science or Veterinary Chemistry or Microbiology or Chemistry or Medicine.
