Education Qualification :
PGT: Master’s degree with at least 50 percent marks in the subject related to the subject in which the selection is to be made from an institution recognized by the State Government or the Central Government or the University Grants Commission. Provided that for the candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes, a postgraduate degree with minimum 45 percent marks. Also, B.Ed from a recognized training institute or a degree declared equivalent to B.Ed by the National Council for Teacher Education. (The educational qualification prescribed for selection will be according to the notification number-2425 of the Department of School Education and Literacy, dated 04.09.2012 and as amended notification number-935 dated.
TGT: Bachelor’s degree with minimum 45 percent marks in the relevant subject in which the selection is to be made from an institution recognized by the State Government or Central Government or University Grants Commission. But for the candidates of Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes, graduation degree with minimum 40 percent marks. > Also B.Ed from a recognized training institute or a degree declared equivalent to B.Ed by the National Council for Teacher Education. (The educational qualification prescribed for selection will be according to the notification number-434 of the Department of School Education and Literacy dated 01.03.2016 and as amended number-355 dated 22.02.2022) > For physical teachers, Bachelor’s degree in Arts, Science or Commerce with minimum 45 percent marks from a university recognized by the State Government and Central Government and BF will be mandatory, but for SC and ST candidates, graduation with 40 percent marks. Qualification of BP.Ed will be mandatory. (The educational qualification prescribed for selection will be according to the notification number-434 of the Department of School Education and Literacy, dated 01.03.2016 and as amended number-355 dated 22.02.2022) > For music teacher, it will be necessary to pass matriculation examination from a university or board recognized by Rashi Government and Central Government and graduate in music or equivalent qualification from a university recognized by State Government and Central Government. (The educational qualification prescribed for the selection will be as per the notification No. 434 of the Department of School Education and Literacy dated 01.03.2016 and as amended No. 355).
