Qualification Details:
1. Essential; A recognised medical qualification included in the First or the Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. Holders of qualifications included in Part II of the Third Schedule should also fulfil the conditions stipulated in Section 13(3) of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. Post-graduate medical qualification in the speciality concerned or equivalent. At least 3 years’ teaching experience in the concerned speciality as Senior Resident/Registrar/Tutor/Demonstrator in a Medical College/Teaching Institution. Knowledge of Konkani.
2. Desirable: Knowledge of Marathi.
3. Scale of Pay: Rs. 15,600-39,100+6600/- (pre-revised) (As per revised pay matrix level

Principal:
Qualification Details:
1. Essential: Master’s Degree in concerned/allied/relevant discipline (s) from a recognized University with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed). Ph. D. Degree in concerned/allied/relevant discipline (s) in the Institution concerned with evidence of published work and research guidance. Associate Professor/Professor with a total experience of fifteen years of teaching/research/administration in Universities, Colleges and other Institutions of higher education. A minimum score as stipulated in the Academic Performance Indicator (API) based Performance Based Appraisal System (PBAS), set out in Tables I to IX of Appendix III to the University Grants Commission (minimum qualifications for Appointment of Teachers and other Academic Staff in Universities and Colleges and other Measures for the Maintenance of standards in Higher Education) Regulations, 2010. Knowledge of Konkani. Minimum fifteen years domicile in the State.
2. Desirable: Knowledge of Marathi.
3. Scale of Pay: Rs. 37,400-67,000+10,000/- + Special Allowance Rs. 2000 (pre-revised)
