Qualification Details:
1. Name of the Discipline: Qualification & Experience
a. Psychiatry: M.D (Psychatric): Specialty Board of Psychiatric and Neurology (USA) M.R.C. Psych. (UK) or equivalent qualification. As Registrar/Tutor, Demonstrator/Tutor or a Senior Resident for a period of two years in a recognized Teaching Medical Institution recognized by the Medical Council of India or the University of Jammu/Kashmir. The teaching experience, if any gained before or during postgraduation studentship shall not be considered while determining the eligibility for the posts of lecturers.
b. Microbiology: Post-graduate degree in Microbiology/Bacteriology i.e M.D (Microbiology/Bacteriology/Patho.Bact., & Ph.D., D.Sc. Specialty board of Pathology (USA). Ph. D in Microbiology/Bacteriology. ii) As registrar / Tutor, Demonstrator / Tutor or a Senior Resident for a period of two years in a recognized Teaching Medical Institution recognized by the Medical Council of India or the University of Jammu/Kashmir. The teaching experience, if any, gained before or during post graduation studentship shall not be considered while determining the eligibility for the posts of lecturers.
c. Dermatology: M.D. in Dermatology; Specialty board of Dermatology (USA). As registrar / Tutor, Demonstrator / Tutor or a Senior Resident for a period of two years in a recognized Teaching Medical Institution recognized by the Medical Council of India or the University of Jammu/Kashmir. The teaching experience, if any, gained before or during post graduation studentship shall not be considered while determining the eligibility for the posts of lecturers.
d. Anatomy: Post graduate degree in Anatomy i.e. M.S. Ph.D in Anatomy. Page 3 of 6 1. Age as on _1st January 2018: Minimum = 18 Years Maximum = 40 Years Physically Challenged candidates = 42 years Candidates belonging to RBA/SC/ST/ALC/SLC categories = 43 years ii) As Registrar/Tutor, Demonstrator/Tutor or a Senior Resident for a period of two years in a recognized Teaching Medical Institution recognized by the Medical Council of India or the University of Jammu/Kashmir. The teaching experience, if any gained before or during postgraduation studentship shall not be considered while determining the eligibility for the posts of lecturers.
e. Orthopedics: M.S. (Ortho). M.Ch.(Ortho)/ specialty board of Orthopedics Surgery (USA) or equivalent qualification.As Registrar/Tutor, Demonstrator/Tutor or a Senior Resident for a period of two years in a recognized Teaching Medical Institution recognized by the Medical Council of India or the University of Jammu/Kashmir. The teaching experience, if any gained before or during post-graduation studentship shall not be considered while determining the eligibility for the posts of lecturers.
f. Pathology: Post-graduate degree in pathology i.e MD Pathology/Path. And bact., Ph.D., D.Sc. Specialty board of Pathology (USA) or MRCP, Path. (UK) As Registrar/Tutor, Demonstrator/Tutor or a Senior Resident for a period of two years in a recognized Teaching Medical Institution recognized by the Medical Council of India or the University of Jammu/Kashmir. The teaching experience, if any gained before or during postgraduation studentship shall not be considered while determining the eligibility for the posts of lecturers.
g. CD&TB: M.D in (tuberculosis and Chest diseases) or equivalent qualifications. As registrar / Tutor, Demonstrator / Tutor or a Senior Resident for a period of two years in a recognized Teaching Medical Institution recognized by the Medical Council of India or the University of Jammu/Kashmir. The teaching experience, if any, gained before or during post graduation studentship shall not be considered while determining the eligibility for the posts of lecturers.
Age: 18-40 Years
Application Fee: After successful submission of the online form, the candidate will be required to deposit requisite fee through online mode. The amount of fee to be paid is given below:- General Category = Rs.1000.00 Reserved Categories = Rs.500.00
Note:
1. In terms of the Government Order No. 102-GAD of 2007 dated 27.01.2007, the Contractual appointees shall be deemed to be in-service candidates so far as the upper age limit for direct recruitment to Government Service is concerned provided they subsist in contractual appointment as on the date of issue of advertisement.
2. Over-aged candidates having exceptional qualification relevant to the concerned subject, may submit a representation with prescribed fee in the shape of demand draft on the name of Controller of Examination, J&K PSC, payable at Jammu/ Srinagar at their own risk and responsibility without prejudice to the right of the Commission to reject their representation/Application Form(s). (Reference Government Order No. 1500-GAD OF 2000 dated:21.12.2000.)
Selection Procedure:
The selection process shall be conducted in accordance with the Rule 51 of Jammu & Kashmir Public Service Commission (Business & Procedure) Rules, 1980 as amended upto date available on the website of Commission i.e www.jkpsc.nic.in).
How to Apply:
The Commission has developed an online Application Form. The Application Form together with instructions for filling up the Application Forms will be available at the website of the Commission from 21.07.2018. Candidates are advised to go through the instructions and all the eligibility conditions prescribed for the post before filing the online Application Form. Last date for filing of online Application complete in all respects along with the requisite fee (online mode only) is 21 .08.2018. The last date for receipt of online applications provided in the notification shall be the cut off date for determining the eligibility. Candidates will also be required to submit a hard copy of the downloaded online application form alongwith with other requisite documents at the Office of the J&K Public Service Commission, Resham Ghar Colony, Bakshi Nagar, Jammu/Solina, Srinagar upto 23.08.2018 or by registered post by or before 25.08.2018.
i. Date of Birth Certificate.
ii. Permanent Resident Certificate.
iii. Valid Category certificate as per SRO 294 dated 21.10.2005 as amended from time to time and read with other relevant SRO’s, if required.
iv. P.G. Diploma/M.B.B.S Degree along with consolidated Marks Card.
v. PG/DNB Degree, along with Registration certificate, from competent authority.
vi. P.G. Diploma/PG/DNB result Notification.
vii. DM/M.Ch/DNB, if any along with result Notification and registration certificate from competent authority.
viii. Two years experience certificate from a recognized Teaching Medical Institution in a responsible position connected with the specialty.
ix. For Physically Challenged Candidates, Disability Certificate on the prescribed format, if required.
