1. Assistant Professor in Sanskrit Education - 11 Posts and Assistant Professor in Yoga - 02 Posts Pay Level - 10 (Pre-Revised - PB-3: Rs.15600- 39100+AGP Rs.6,000-00): Sanskrit Education - 11 Posts (Sanskrit Teaching Methodology - 07 Posts (UR - 05 and OBC - 02 ); Hindi Teaching Methodology - 02 Posts (SC - 01 and OBC -01); Telugu Teaching Methodology - 01 Post (ST ); Music - 01 Post (UR));
2. Assistant Professor in Sanskrit Education (Eleven Posts - Ten Education + One Music) Pay Level - 10 (Pre-Revised -PB-3 Rs. 15600-39100 with Academic Grade Pay of Rs.6,000) 2.1. Sanskrit Teaching Methodology - (Five Posts - UR category)
3. ESSENTIAL:
(i) Acharya in any discipline/Master’s Degree in Sanskrit with 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed);
(ii) Shiksha Sastri (B.Ed.) with Sanskrit Teaching Methodology and Shiksha Acharya (M.Ed.) with at least 55% of marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading systems is followed);
(iii) Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, the candidate must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC, CSIR or similar test accredited by the UGC like SLET/SET in the relevant subject;
(iv) Notwithstanding anything contained in the sub-clauses (i), (ii) and (iii) and as per UGC Regulations, 2010, candidates, who are, or have been awarded a Ph.D Degree in accordance with the University Grants Commission (Minimum standards and Procedure for award of Ph.D degree) Regulations, 2009 shall be exempted from the requirement of the minimum eligibility condidations of NET/SLET/SET for recruitment and appointment of Assistant Professor or equal positions in Universities

(i) Good Academic Record with a Ph.D. Degree in the concerned/allied/ relevant disciplines.
(ii) A Master's Degree in Yoga with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed).
(iii) A minimum of eight years of experience of teaching and/or research in an academic/ research position equivalent to that of Assistant Professor in a University, College or accredited Research Institution/Industry excluding the period of Ph.D. research with evidence of published work and a minimum of five (5) publications as books and/or research/policy papers.
(iv) Contribution to educational innovation, design of new curricula and courses, and technology-mediated teaching learning process with evidence of having guided doctoral candidates and research students
