Graduate Engineer Trainee - 30
Qualification Details:
1. Nmae of Post: Graduate Engineer Trainee (Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, and Instrumentation)
2. Stipend: Ist year Stipend : ` 22,500/-p.m. IInd year Stipend: ` 25,350/-p.m. (After completion of training, candidates will be absorbed as Junior Shift Engineer / Junior Plant Engineer in the pay scale of ` 13900-320-17100)
3. Qualification:
(i) Chemical: First Class full time B.E / B.Tech in Chemical Engineering / Chemical Technology / Pulp and Paper Technology. SC / SC Arunthathiyar / ST candidates should have secured First Class with minimum 65% of marks in aggregate. All other candidates should have secured First Class with minimum 70% of marks in aggregate.
(ii) Mechanical: First Class full time B.E / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering / Production Engineering / Industrial Engineering. SC / SC Arunthathiyar / ST candidates should have secured First Class with minimum 65% of marks in aggregate. All other candidates should have secured First Class with minimum 70% of marks in aggregate.
(iii) Electrical: First Class full time B.E / B.Tech in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. SC / SC Arunthathiyar / ST candidates should have secured First Class with minimum 65% of marks in aggregate. All other candidates should have secured First Class with minimum 70% of marks in aggregate.
(iv) Instrumentation: First Class full time B.E / B.Tech in Instrumentation Technology / Instrumentation and Control Engineering / Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering. SC / SC Arunthathiyar / ST candidates should have secured First Class with minimum 65% of marks in aggregate. All other candidates should have secured First Class with minimum 70% of marks in aggregate.
Age: Maximum as on 01/02/2020. General Turn-25 years, BC/BCM/MBC/DNC-27 years, SC/SCA/ST-30 years.
General Instructions:
1. Wherever CGPA / OGPA or letter grade in a Degree is awarded, equivalent percentage of marks should be indicated in the application as per norms adopted by University / Institute. Candidates will be required to submit documentary proof / certificate to this effect from the Institute / University at the time of Certificate Verification, if required.
2. Candidates having 5 years B.E. / B.Tech. + M.E. / M.Tech. viz., integrated dual degree in engineering in relevant discipline will also be considered. Candidates should have secured 65% or 70% of marks in Graduation as applicable to the community without any rounding off.
3. Inteship Training / Apprenticeship Training under the Apprentices Act 1961 will not be considered as Experience.
4. The Candidates should ensure that they fulfill the eligibility criteria and other requirements and that the particulars fuished by them are correct in all respect. In case it is detected at any stage of recruitment process that the candidate does not meet the eligibility criteria and / or the candidate has fuished any incorrect / false information or has suppressed any material fact(s), the candidature of such a candidate is liable to be rejected. If any of the above shortcoming(s) is/are detected, even after appointment, he / she will be terminated and prosecuted.

7. Post Qualification experience will be calculated only after acquiring essential qualification i.e. B.E. / B.Tech. / PG Diploma in Pulp and Paper Technology / PG Diploma in Process Instrumentation.

Selection Procedure:
After the scrutiny of applications, only shortlisted candidates will be called for Written Test / Interview.

2. Candidates are advised to go through the User Manual before filling the Online Application and follow the instructions / procedures.
3. Candidates can access the Online Application portal at www.tnpl.com. The Online Application portal will be active from 08:30 hours on 23/02/2020 to 17:30 hours on 23/03/2020.
4. After submitting the Application through ONLINE, an Application Form will be generated and it will be sent to the candidate’s e-mail ID with Application Number, which has to be quoted for all future references. 5. The candidature of the applicant who fails to submit the hard copy of the Application Form (or) received belatedly after the stipulated time will not be considered. 6.
