Qualification Details:
1. Sub: Filling Of The Posts Of Construction Engineers. Ministry Of Defence On Deputation Or Re-employment Basis.
2. Applications from eligible candidates are invited for 07 posts of Construction Engineers (Gp 'A' Gazetted), revised as Pay Band PB-3, 15600 — 39100 with grade pay of Rs. 6600/- (Pay Level -II) to be filled deputation or re-employment basis in DRDO, Ministry of Defence, Delhi.
3. Deputation (Civilian Officers) Civilian Officers of the Organised Engineering Services of the Central Govemment or other Departments or State Government or Public Undertakings". (a) (i) holding analogous posts on regular basis. (ii) with five years' regular service in the pay scale of Rs 8000- 13500 (Level -10)
4. Deputation or Re-employment (Service Officers): Engineer Offers from the services of the rank of- (a) Major/equivalent or Captain/equivalent with five years regular service in the rank; and (b) Possessing the educational qualifications and experience as prescribed at Annexure-I to this letter.
5. Essential educational qualifications and experience:- Essential Degree or equivalent in Civil/EIectrical/Mechanical Engineering or in Architecture. At least 4 years experience in planning and execution of works out Of which at least 2 years should be on site/ field or Atleast 4 years experience in Estate management (i.e encroachment, developments, usufructs and litigation and matters relating thereto). Provision of Civic amenities for inhabited estates arboriculture and environmental health civic taxes and matters relating thereto and experience of land survey and land acquisition. Valuation of land rules related to negotiated purchase/ hiring of immovable property or
6. Atleast 4 years experience vetting of running and final bills of Civil Works, Scrutiny of contract documents/ deviation orders and amendments to contract, control of Civil works budget, Stores audit with exposure to computer program/ system analysis. P"irable (I) Experience in planning/design of works connected with time-bound projects. (2) Knowledge of Budget monitoring and control of works experience and scales accommodation.

Photocopies of the APARs shou'd attested on each page bv an officer not below the rank of Under Secretary equivalent in the Central Govt. failinq which the application pf the candidate shall be summarily rejeqted. In the event of selection, the applicant will not be allowed to withdraw his candidature.
2. Applications received after the last date or without duly attested copies of APARs as indicated above or without the counter-signature of the employer, or otherwise incomplete, will not be considered. No action will be taken on advance copies of the applications or applications, which are not received through proper channel.
