Qualification Details:
Applications are invited in prescribed format for engagement of Project Assistant and Project Associate-I on behalf Of the sponsor as per details:
1. Posts: Project Assistant
2. No.of. Posts: 08
3. Project Assistant: B.Sc [Botany/ Zoology/ Biotechnology/ Chemistry/ Env. Management/ Env. Science/ Geology/ Agri.(S0il Sciences))
4. Fixed remuneration : Proiect Assistant : Rs.20.000/- Plus HRA
5. Job Requirement: Project Assistant: i). Field survey (secondary data collection) & collection of Air, water, wastewater, soil samples etc., ii). Characterization of Air/ Water/ Wastewater/ Soil samples (Laboratory analysis). iii). Carry out tests involving molecular biology and microbiology protocols iv). Compilation, Data processing and assisting in Report Preparation. v). Technical reports preparation using computer software like DTP, MS Office,...etc.,

Selection Process:
Selection process: The applications shall be scrutinized by screening committee and short listed candidates shall be intimated by e-mail/ phone. All the short listed candidates shall be required to appear for virtual interview. Date of interview shall be communicated to the shortlisted candidates well in advance. The engagement is purely on temporary basis, which may be extended or curtailed depending on the duration Of the sponsored/R&D/consultancy project, satisfactory performance/ conduct Of the appointee. The tenure of project assistant at the time of appointment shall be for a period of one year and co-terminus with the project, whichever is earlier. The engagement shall not be an appointment in CSIR/NEERI, temporary or otherwise. It would, therefore, not confer any right/claim. implicit or explicit for consideration for regularization/absorption.
