Qualification Details:
1. Posts: Guest Faculty
2. No.of. Posts: Guest Faculty 1 – OBC 1 – UR
3. Essential: MA with at least 55% marks (5% relaxation for OBC) or equivalent degree/grade in Comparative Literature or allied/relevant discipline and NET (or PhD degree as per UGC regulations, 2009) as well as a good academic record and proficiency in English.
4. Desirable: PhD/MPhil in Comparative Literature or allied/relevant discipline and teaching experience as well as orientation for online teaching and technology mediated teaching-learning process.
5. Emoluments: As per current University norms, Assistant Professor (Temporary) would be paid on the basis of existing UGC pay scale and Guest Faculty would be paid a consolidated amount of in accordance with the new UGC guidelines for Guest Faculty. Also, as per F&A rules, 10% or 20%, respectively for those with and without PAN, may be deducted towards income tax, unless a certificate of exemption from a competent authority is submitted.
Notes:
i) No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
ii) The University reserves the right not to fill any of the above positions.
iii) The courses to be taught will be as per the revised MA syllabus.
iv) Appointments (from the date classes begin, August 20th 2020 until Last day of the semester) would be purely temporary in nature.
