Qualification Details:
BHEL invites applications for One Position of Senior Consultant in the area of Corporate Medical Group at its Corporate Office. The position shall be based at New Delhi.

3. Period of Engagement: The period of engagement shall be for one year which can be further extended by a period of upto one year at a time or till the completion of assignment (whichever is earlier). However, the maximum tenure shall be limited to five years or upto 65 years of age. (whichever is earlier).
4. Job Description: The Senior Consultant shall assist the Corporate Medical Group in following areas: -
a. To provide Medical Consultation for existing employees & RECHS beneficiaries
b. Facilitating in implementation of Digital Health Platforms e.g. UHMS, RG, Zyolo etc. across BHEL Units and BHEL Hospitals /Dispensaries
c. Facilitate Corporate Office & BHEL Units in Hospital Empanelment
d. Any other tasks which may be assigned from time to time.
5. Eligibility Criteria: Any retired executives of BHEL equivalent grade of E8 (i.e. General Manager) from PSUs/Autonomous Organizations /Central/State Government / Members of National Level Professional Institutions or any other organizations including private sector meeting following eligibility criteria can apply:
6. Qualification Requirements: The applicant must possess MBBS degree with a Post Graduate Degree in the Medicine Field
7. Experience: The applicant should have minimum twenty-five years’ work experience (as on 01st day of December, 2020), post attaining MBBS degree. Out of which, at least 2 years’ experience shall be as Head of Medical Services in a CPSE.
8. Emoluments: The Senior Consultant will be paid a consolidated fee of Rs. 90,000/- per month. In addition, mobile phone charges (Upto Rs 2000) for one connection, Transport allowance at 10% of consultancy fee and Housing allowance as per applicable rates shall be admissible.

Age: Age (as on 01st of December,2020): The applicant should not be more than 63 years. Note: Applicants retired under VRS Scheme shall be considered only after attaining 60 years of age.

Selection Procedure :
1. The applications, received against the notification, will be scrutinized by a committee and the shortlisted candidates may be then called for an interaction, if required, by a duly constituted Selection Board.
2. The outside candidates called for the interaction shall be reimbursed the travel expenses as given below: By Rail: AC-First Class or By Air: By Economy Class Air fare.
