Education Qualification :

Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) requires the Trainee Hindi Officer (Translator) on contract basis. They may be posted to any Unit or Regional Offices or Marketing Centres of BEL in India which is nearest to the candidate’s location.

1. Name of the Post: Trainee Hindi Officer (Translator)

2. No of Post: 02

3. Qualification: Master degree in Hindi in a recognized University with English as a compulsory or elective subject or as medium of examination at the degree level

4. Minimum Post Qualification Experience as on 01.05.2021: 0-1 year of relevant post qualification experience.

5. Consolidated remuneration per Month: 1 st year- Rs. 25,000/- 2 nd year - Rs. 28,000/- 3 rd year - Rs. 31,000/-

6. Job Description: Translation and typing of various documents from Hindi to English and vice-versa. To assist Hindi Officer in organizing Hindi Meetings and Hindi Workshops. Maintaining files and records relating to Hindi. To translate various publications of official journals, books, forms, circulars, manuals, articles, etc. in Hindi and vice versa.

7. Terms of Engagement & Allowance: 

a) Trainee Hindi Officer (Translator) will be engaged for an initial period of 01 year and may be extended upto a maximum of 03 years (including initial period) based on project requirement and individual performance. Candidates will be paid a consolidated remuneration of Rs. 25,000/- per month for the 1st year and in the event of extension of contract, the remuneration shall be Rs. 28,000/- for 2nd year and Rs.31,000/- for 3rd year per month.

b) In addition to the remuneration indicated, a consolidated amount of Rs. 10,000/- per year will be paid towards expenses like medical insurance premium, attire allowance, stitching charges, footwear allowance, etc.

8. Post Qualification Experience As On 01.05.2021: Candidates should possess minimum 0-1 year of relevant post qualification experience can apply.

Age:

Upper Age limit as on 01.05.2021: The age limit should be not more than 25 years for EWS candidates. The upper age limit will be relaxable for ST candidates by 05 years. For candidates belonging to PWD category having minimum 40% disability or more will get 10 years’ relaxation in addition to the relaxation applicable to the categories mentioned above.

Application Fee:

Candidates belonging to EWS category are required to pay an application fee of Rs. 200/-. Candidates belonging to ST/PWD are exempted from paying application fee. Candidates may go through all the instructions and eligibility criteria carefully before remitting the Application Fee.

General

1. Only Indian nationals can apply for the posts.

2. The number of posts indicated above, may vary based on the actual requirement at the time of selection. 8. There will be no separate communication to any candidates on their non-selection at any stage.

9. Mere submission of application does not guarantee the adequacy of the candidature for being considered for the selection process.

10. Decision of BEL in all matters regarding eligibility of the candidate, the stages at which such scrutiny of eligibility is to be undertaken, qualification and other eligibility norms will be final and binding on the candidate.

11. Relaxation and concessions will be applicable to the candidates belonging to ST/PWD as per the Government directives.

12. Applicants should have sound health. No relaxation in health standard is allowed. Appointment of selected candidates will be subject to submitting medical fitness certificate from a Medical Officer not below the rank of Civil Surgeon / Assistant Surgeon at the time of joining.

13. Selected candidates are required to be covered under Medical Insurance scheme for a sum of Rs. 2 lakhs per annum and submit the same on joining.

14. BEL reserves the right to debar / disqualify any candidate at any stage of the selection process for any reason what so ever.

15. Management reserves the right to cancel/restrict/enlarge/modify/alter the recruitment / selection process, if need so arises, without issuing any further notice or assigning any reason thereafter.

16. Canvassing in any form will result in disqualification.

Documents Required

1. Passport size photo to be affixed in the space provided in the application form.

2. SSLC/SSC/ISC marks card or any other valid document as proof of date of birth.

3. All Year / Semester wise marks cards of Degree and Master Degree.

4. Final degree/Convocation/Provisional Degree certificate of relevant qualification.

5. Proof of norms for CGPA/DGPA/OGPA or letter grade/document for percentage/class issued by University/Institution/College.

6. Caste/Tribe/Disability/Economic status certificate in case of candidates belonging to ST/PWD/EWS respectively. Candidates claiming reservation under any of the above categories are required to submit the Certificate in the prescribed format. The formats of various certificates are provided as link to the advertisement. Candidates belonging to EWS category should enclose Income and Asset Certificate issued for the year 2020-21.

7. Post qualification work experience certificate/s from previous / current employer.

8. Online Payment Receipt or Bank Challan (Original Depositor’s Copy) with signature of the bank authorities and bank seal (if applicable). Photocopy of the bank challan will not be accepted.

9. Candidates employed on permanent/Fixed term basis in Government / Quasi Government and Public Sectors undertaking should compulsorily submit the ‘No Objection Certificate’ along with the application.

10. Candidates employed on temporary basis in Government / Quasi Government and Public Sectors undertaking should compulsorily submit Offer of Appointment and latest payslip.

Selection Procedure :

1. Candidates should meet the eligibility criteria as specified in the advertisement. Candidates who meet the eligible criteria with respect to educational qualification, relevant Post Qualification experience will be allotted weightage as follows:

a) Aggregate marks scored in their relevant degree qualification. 75%

b) 2.5 marks for minimum stipulated post qualification experience and additional 1.25 marks for every additional 6 months of relevant experience, up to maximum of 10 marks. 10%

c) Interview for Shortlisted candidates. 15%

2. Candidates will be shortlisted for the online interview based on the above criteria (out of 85 marks), in the ratio of 1:5.

3. Intimation on conducting video based interviews will be sent to E-mail ID provided by the candidate. Candidates are required to comply with the instructions indicated therein. The results of the final selection will be available on BEL website.
