Qualification Details:
1. Post: Soldier General Duty (All Arms)
2. Born Between (Both dates inclusive) 01 Oct 2000 to 01 Apr 2004
3. Height 166, Weight; Chest 77 cms with 5 cms expansion
4. Educational Qualification: Class 10th / Matric pass with 45% marks in aggregate and 33% in n each subject. For boards following grading sys of: D Grade (33% -40%) in indl subjects or equivalent of grade which contains 33% and overall aggregate in C2 grade or equivalent corresponding to 45% in aggregate.

Other Conditions:
(a) The candidates should be medically fit to join Indian Army at the time of Rally. The Medical Standards have been uploaded on the website.
(b) Tatoo/Engraving Permanent body tattoos are only permitted on inner face of forearm i.e. from inside of elbow to the wrist and on the reverse side of palm/back (dorsal) side of hand. Permanent body tattoos on any other part of the body is not acceptable and candidate will be barred from further selection. Tribals with tattoo marks on the face or body as per existing custom and traditions will be permitted on a case to case basis. The guidelines on dealing with such cases are as under:-
i. Candidates belonging to Tribal communities/from tribal areas, as declared by the Govt of India scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes Orders Act/l_ists (amended and modified from time to time) are permitted to have permanent body tattoos on any part of the body, as per existing customs and traditions of the said tribe to which a candidate belongs. Such candidates will only be permitted on producing the following two certificates:-
(aa) Self declaration certificate as per Appendix 'A' to be signed by the candidate.
(ab) Certificate of belonging to a tribal community and permissibility of permanent body Tattoo(s) as per format at Appendix 'B' to be signed by either DC/DM or SDM of the District/Tehsil where the tribe of the candidate is presently settled (Name and designation of the concerned official must be clearly mentioned) or signed by Chairman/Secretary or any other senior member of the Tribe (Name, designation if any and address of the concerned member will be clearly mentioned).
Documents:
1. Document Required. Candidates must bring the following documents in original on the day of rally as per programme. The documents should be arranged properly in a sequence and contained in a file cover along with two sets of Photostat copy of each duly attested by a Gazetted Officer with his name and seal in English. Candidates are advised to check their certificate and Marks Sheet for mismatch of name, Date of Birth, Parents name, School and other particulars in various certificates. All documents/ rubber stamp/seals should be in ENGLISH. The following documents in original must be brought by the candidates:-
(a) Admit Card. Printed with Laser Printer on good quality paper (Do not shrink the size).
(b) Photographs. Twenty copies of unattested Passport size colour photographs developed on good quality photographic paper in light background not more than three months old. Computer Printouts / photoshopped photographs will NOT be accepted
(c) Education Certificate
(i) Education Certificate with marks sheet in original of all educational qualification achieved by candidate i.e Class 8th / Matric / Intermediate / Graduation etc from recognized School / College / Board / University.
(ii) Provisional / Online Education Certificate should be certified in & signed by the head of the Educational Institution of concerned Board / University.
(iii) Candidates with Matric Certificate from Open School should bring School Leaving Certificate Countersigned by BEO IDEO.
(iv) Candidates applying for Soldier Tradesman (All Arms) 8th Pass should bring 8th class marks sheet countersigned by the BEO/DEO.
(d) Domicile(Nativity) Certificate. Domicile Certificate affixed with photograph issued by Tehsildar/District Magistrate. Details to be filled in para 3 & 4 of Appendix 'C'
(e) Caste Certificate. Caste Certificate affixed with photographs of the candidate issued by the Tehsildar/District Magistrate.
(f) Religion Certificate . Religion Certificate issue by the Tehsildar/SDM (if religion as "SIKH/HINDU/MUSLIM/CHRISTIAN" is NOT mentioned in caste Certificate).
(g) School Character Certificate. School Character Certificate issued by the School/College Principal/Headmaster, where the candidate last studied
(h) Character Certificate . School Character Certificate with photographs issued by the Village Sarpanch/Municipal Corporation within last six months.
(j) Unmarried Certificate. Unmarried certificate with photographs issued by village Sarpanch / Municipal Corporation within last six months. (Format of Unmarried Certificate is attached as per Appendix D with the notification).
(k) No Involvement Certificate. Certificate of No involvement in criminal cases as per paragraph 1
(d) of Appendix C. Candidates who are below 18 years of age will have
(i) Parent Consent Certificate. to bring their parents consent certificate. Format Of Affidavit on Non Judicial Stamp Paper is attached to this notification as paragraph I
(e) of Appendix C.
(m) Details of Previous Rally. Details of Previous Rally attended by the individual is to be filled in paragraph 5 of Appendix C.
(n) Relationship Certificate. Son of Servicemen (SOS)/ Son of Ex-Servicemen (SOEX)/ Son of Widow (SOW)/ Son of War Widow (SOWN) Candidates are required to produce the following documents:-
(i) Relation Certificate issued from respective Records Office only duly signed by the Records Officer with Personal Number, Rank, Name and particular of the Records Officer issuing the Relationship Certificate with Office Seal/Stamp is enclosed
(ii) A declaration to the affect as mentioned in the Affidavit on Ten Rupees Non- Judicial Stamp paper prepared by the Ex-servicemen and serving soldier duly signed by 1 st Class/Executive/Judicial Magistrate is required to be submitted by the candidate at rally site. Format of affidavit is attached as per Appendix 'E'.
(iii) Original Discharge Book of Ex-servicemen also to be produced, Name and Date of Birth of the candidate must have been recorded in it.

Selection Process :
To avoid large gatherings at (a) Change in Rally Conduct Procedure Due to COVID one place, Candidates will be directed to report to different Report Centres in the close vicinity of main venue (Indira Priyadarshini Stadium, Visakhapatnam). The same will be coordinated by the Recruiting staff.

How to Apply :
1. Army Recruitment Rally under the aegis of Headquarters Recruiting Zone, Chennai will be conducted by Army Recruiting Office, Visakhapatnam from 16 August 2021 to 31 August 2021 at Indira Priyadarshini Stadium, Visakhapatnam (Andhra Pradesh) to enroll eligible candidates into the Army from Six districts of Andhra Pradesh i.e. Srikakulam, Vizianagram, Visakhapatnam, East Godavari, West Godavari, Krishna & Yanam district of (union territory Puducherry) in Soldier General Duty, Soldier Technical, Soldier Technical (Aviation & Amn Examiner), Soldier Technical Nursing Assistant/Nursing Assistant Veterinary, Soldier Clerk & Store Keeper Technical and Soldier Tradesman categories.
2. Candidates will have to apply online only, on the official web site www.ioinindianarmv.nic.in from 20 Jun 2021 to 03 Aug 2021. Admit cards will be issued online wef 09 Aug 2021. Candidates are requested to bring their admit card, application & documents mentioned in the admit card at the rally site.
3. Date and time of reporting at rally site will be mentioned on admit card. Print out of admit card can be taken wef 09 Aug 2021 from www.ioinindianarmy.nic.in. Candidates are advised to carry their Admit Card and documents in water proof transparent document sleeves/sheet protection to guard against damage due to inclement weather.
4. Registration All candidates are required to register themselves online on the website . www.ioinindianarmy.nic.in and apply online wef 20 Jun 2021 to 03 Aug 2021. Kindly read the for registration and filling application forms as given on instructions www.joinindianarmy.nic.in website.
5. Advisory for Candidates for Submission of Online Application/Reqistration Online application on www.ioinindianarmy.nic.in has edit option available till the registration is open (20 Jun 2021 to 03 Aug 2021).
