Coast Guard Organisation invites applications from eligible candidates for filling up the following vacancies through Direct Recruitment
1. Name of Post Chargeman, General Central Service, Group 'B, Non- Gazetted, Non-ministerial in Pay Level-6 in the pay matrix Rs. 35400-112400/-
2. No. and place of posting 09 (SC-01, ST-01, OBC-02, EWS-01 & UR-04), Chennai, Tuticorin, Diglipur, Campbell Bay, Jakhau, Kolkata & Haldia.
3. Essential Eligibility: A Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical or Marine or Electronics Engineering or Production Engineering from a recognized University/ Institution. Two years' experience in the field of hull repair or general, engineering and/or in Electrical or Electronics trades.
Age:
Not exceeding 30 years (Relaxable for Government servants upto five years in accordance with the instruction or orders issued by the Central Government).

Selection Procedure :
1. Shortlisted candidates will undergo a written test on the basis of educational qualification prescribed for the post. The syllabus for written examination consists of General Knowledge, Arithmetic, General English, Mental Ability and experience related to the said post.
