Qualification Details:
NIMHANS is conducting a walk-in-selection for filling up the post of Research Assistant on contract basis in a NIHR-UOY funded project entitled “Improving Outcomes in Mental and Physical Multimorbidity and Developing Research Capacity (IMPACT) in South Asia” – under Dr.Pratima Murthy, Professor of Psychiatry & PI.
1. Name of the Post: Research Assistant
2. Emoluments: 35,000/- p.m. (Consolidated)
3. Duration of the employment: Appointment will be made for 6 months, extendable until 31st March 2022
4. Educational Qualification:
(i) MPhil in Psychiatric Social Work / Clinical Psychology with one-year experience in the field after completion or
(ii) MA/MSc in Clinical Psychology with two-year experience in the field or
(iii) Diploma in Psychiatric Nursing/MSW with 2-year experience of working in a tertiary care mental health setting is essential or
(iv) MBBS with 2-year experience of working full time in a mental health setting
5. Desirable: Knowledge of common, severe mental disorders, experience of conducting research with patients, carers or healthcare staff, behavioural lifestyle interventions and knowledge of Kannada.
