The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), vide Vacancy Circular of even number dated 21.06.2021 (including published in the Employment News 03- 09 July 2021), has invited applications from Officers working in the Central Police Organisation, State Police Organisations and Central Excise and Customs or Income Tax, or persons working under Central Government or State Government or Public Sector Undertakings for flling up 10 vacancies, subject to change, in the rank of Deputy Superintendent of Police Group A/Gazetted (Non-Ministerial) in CBI in the
5. Pay Level-10 of the Pay Matrix (pre-revised PB-3 Rs. 15600-39100/-+ Grade Pay of Rs. 5400/-) on deputation (Including Short Term Contract) or absorption.
6. Method of Recruitment: By deputation (Including Short Term Contact) or absorption.
7. Period of deputation (Including Short Term Contract): Not exceeding 3 years.
8. Eligibility conditions for appointment on deputation (Including Short Term Contract) or absorption: holding analogous posts on regular basis in the parent cadre or Department; or With six years' service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on regular basis in posts in the pay band-2 of Rs. 9300- 34800 plus grade pay Rs. 4600 or equivalent, in the parent cadre or Department; And recognized Bachelors degree university from a experience in inquiry or Three years' intelligence investigation work. or Officers under the State Police Organizations; Holding analogous posts on a regular basis in the parent cadre or Department; or With six years' service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on regular basis in posts in the Pay Band -2 of Rs. 9300-34800 plus Grade Pay Rs.4600/- or equivalent in the parent cadre or Department; and Possessing the following educational qualifications and experience
a. Bachelor's degree from a recognized university Three years' experience in the investigation of criminal cases. Or Officers of Central Excise and Customs or Income Tax, or persons working under Central Government Undertakings; State Sector Government or Pulblic Holding analogous posts on regular basis in the parent cadre or Department; or With six years' service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on regular posts in the Pay Band -2 of Rs. 9300-34800 plus Grade Pay Rs. 4600/- or equivalent in the parent cadre or Department; and Possessing the following educational qualifications and experience: Bachelor's degree from a recognized university Five years' experience in vigilance or investigation or intelligence work.
