Qualification Details:
THDC India Limited, A Mini Ratna Schedule ‘A’ Company, invites application from eligible candidates who are having domicile of Uttarakhand for undergoing one year Apprenticeship Training under Apprentice Act 1961, as amended from time to time in the trades mentioned below at our Rishikesh location.

4. Eligibility/ Qualification: 10th pass and ITI passed (regular Candidate) in the year 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020 & 2021 Age Relaxation for SC/ST 05 Year, for OBC 03 Years (Non Creamy layer) & 10 year for 40 % or more than 40 % PWD candidate (VH/HH/OH) in their category.

The minimum age limit is 18 year and the maximum age limit is 30 years as on closing date (Relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST & 03 years for OBC (Non Creamy layer) & 10 years for 40 % PWD candidates (VH/OH/HH) in their category.

Terms and Conditions:
1. Age limit : The minimum age limit is 18 year and the maximum age limit is 30 years as on closing date (Relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST & 03 years for OBC (Non Creamy layer) & 10years for 40 % PWD candidates (VH/OH/HH) in their category.
2. Stipend : As per provisions of Apprentice Act 1961
3. Training Duration : One Year.
4. The defined seats of reservation for SC,ST will be as per Apprentice Act 1961., in the ratio of 1:6 and 1:3. Reservation for OBC and PH candidate will be given as per the norms of Uttarakhand Government.
5. Preference will be given for candidates from project affected families (PAF) and project affected areas (PAA) of Tehri, Koteshwar, Pipalkoti.
6. Only candidates who have Uttarakhand Domicile are eligible to apply.
7. Candidates should be eligible with respect to age criteria and educational qualification as on closing date. Result awaited candidates need not apply.
8. Employment in THDCIL: No Employment will be given after the completion of apprenticeship training by THDCIL.
9. Candidates will have to make their own arrangements for stay.
10. The candidates who after completion of their education have undergone apprentice training in any organization shall not be considered eligible for apprentice training.
11. Those candidates who have successfully completed ITI (Regular) in 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020 and 2021 are only eligible for apprenticeship Training. Candidates whose results are awaited will not be eligible for applying for apprenticeship training.
14. The selection and deployment of apprentice trainees will be subjected to detailed provisions.
15. Candidates may kindly ensure that they possess required qualification for the apprenticeship training, if at any time of joining or after joining apprentices training it is found that candidates have submitted wrong information or the documents submitted are not true, then the candidature of the candidate will be cancelled without giving any reason.
16. Management reserves the right for amendment/rescheduling/termination/suspension of selection process without giving any reason.
17. No communication will be done with the candidates who have not been selected.
18. Corrigendum/Modification/updation related to selection process will be made available in the recruitment section of THDCIL website : www.thdc.co.in. No information in this regard will be given or will be publish in news paper or through any other medium.
19. Candidates are advised to check the website regularly for updates related to the engagement of Apprenticeship Trainee in THDCIL.

Selection Process :
Selection criteria : there will be no interview, the eligible candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of merit drawn on the basis of marks obtained in respective trade i. e. ITI examination. (in case the marks obtained by the candidates are same, then candidate of higher age will be given preference).
How to Apply :
A) It is mandatory for candidates to enroll themselves in the new apprenticeship portal (www.apprenticeshipindia.org ) and mention the number in the application, without registration number no candidates will be engaged as apprenticeship trainee.
B) Please see www.apprenticeshipindia.org, after enrollment in the website it is suggested to kindly take the printout of the registration number as received in your email, as it will be required while applying in THDCIL for apprenticeship training.
C) Candidates are required to download the application format available in THDCIL website: www.thdc.co.in and forward the filled in application along with all the documents as mentioned above to the following address with indicating “Application for Trade Apprentices-2021” on the envelop and sent by post to the following address:
