Kochi Metro Rail Limited 2022 Jobs Recruitment Notification. Kochi Metro Rail inviting applications for the positions of Executive or Assistant Manager. Interested and Eligible candidates can apply for the positions.

Job Location - Kochi

Education Qualification :

Kochi Metro Rail Limited (KMRL) a 50:50 Joint Venture of Government of India and Government of Kerala incorporated for the implementation of the Kochi Metro Rail project and for its Operation & Maintenance in Kochi intends to fill up the following post:-

1. Position: Executive –(E1)/Asst. Manager-(E2) -Telecommunications

2. Total no. of Post: One no. (Either E1 or E2)

3. Grade/Pay Scale: E2-Rs.50000-160000/-(IDA Scale) E1-Rs.40000-140000/- (IDA Scale)

4. Qualification: B.E./ B. Tech in Electronics & Communication Engineering from Recognized university/Institute.

5. Experience: 

a. For Asst. Manager (Telecommunications) Minimum 05 years of post-qualification experience, out of which minimum 03 years shall be in Installation, Testing and Commissioning of Metro Rail projects in Telecommunication field. Experience in Govt. / Quasi Govt. / PSUs with contract management / project management / billing in Telecommunication field is preferred.

b. For Executive (Telecommunications) Minimum 03 years of post-qualification experience, out of which minimum 02 years shall be in Installation, Testing and Commissioning of Metro Rail projects in Telecommunication field. Experience in Govt. / Quasi Govt. / PSUs with contract management / project management / billing in Telecommunication field is preferred.

1. Position: Executive –(E1)/Asst. Manager-(E2) (AFC)

2. Total no. of Post: One no. (Either E1 or E2)

3. Grade/Pay Scale: E2-Rs.50000-160000/-(IDA Scale) E1-Rs.40000-140000/- (IDA Scale)

4. Qualification: B.E./ B. Tech in Electronics & Communication Engineering from Recognized university/Institute.

5. Experience:

b. For Executive (AFC) Minimum 03 years of post-qualification experience, out of which minimum 02 years shall be in Installation, Testing and Commissioning of Metro Rail projects in AFC field. Experience in Govt. / Quasi Govt. / PSUs with contract management / project management / billing in AFC field is preferred.

2. Total no. of Post: One no. (Either E1 or E2)

3. Grade/Pay Scale: E2-Rs.50000-160000/-(IDA Scale) E1-Rs.40000-140000/- (IDA Scale)

4. Qualification: B.E./B.Tech in Electrical Engineering or Electrical & Electronics Engineering from Recognized university/Institute.

5. Experience: 

a. For Asst. Manager (Power & Traction) Minimum 05 years of post-qualification experience, out of which minimum 03 years shall be in planning, procurement, contract management, installation, testing & commissioning of Power & Traction equipment’s in Raliway/Metro systems

b. For Executive (Power & Traction) Minimum 03 years of post-qualification experience, out of which minimum 02 years shall be in planning, procurement, contract management, installation, testing & commissioning of Power & Traction equipment’s in Raliway/Metro systems Preference will be given to those who possess experience in modern Metro Rail systems.

Age Limit

For Asst. Manager (Power & Traction) 35 Years (Age relaxation applicable as per reservation rules). For Executive (Power & Traction) 32 Years (Age relaxation applicable as per reservation rules).

General Conditions:-

1. Age, Qualification & Experience shall be reckoned as on 01.06.2022.

2. Only shortlisted candidates will be notified for interview, which will be communicated through email id registered with KMRL by the applicants. No other mode of communication will be attempted.

3. KMRL reserves the right to shortlist the applicants for written test and Interview/Interview. 

4. Any corrigendum/ addendum to this advertisement will be displayed only in the website (www.kochimetro.org). Applicants are requested to visit the website from time to time for all updates. 

5. Applicants employed in Govt. / Quasi Govt. / PSUs shall produce a “No Objection Certificate” from their employer at the time of interview. 

6. Acceptance or rejection of application of the candidates will be the sole discretion of the Management. Incomplete applications are liable to be rejected. 

7. KMRL management reserves the right to cancel or amend this advertisement. 

8. Applications of candidates attempting to influence or interfere with the selection process will be rejected summarily and he/she will be declared disqualified for future vacancies in KMRL

9. No TA/DA will be paid by KMRL to candidates for attending interview. 

10. Subject to fulfilling the other criteria’s, Internal candidates, if any, working on regular or contract basis, will be able to avail of an age relaxation upto maximum of 5 years & 3 years respectively as per KMRL rules.

11. KMRL reserves the right not to fill the position or select any candidate without assigning any reason. 

12. Candidature of a candidate is liable to be rejected at any stage of the recruitment process or after recruitment or joining, if any information provided by the candidate is found to be false or not in conformity with the eligibility criteria mentioned in the advertisement.

13. Merely fulfilling the minimum qualifications and experience will not confer on any candidates the right to be called for an interview or to be selected.

14. No correspondence, whatsoever, will be entertained from candidates regarding conduct and result of interview and reasons for not being called for interview or selection.

15. KMRL reserves the right to offer a grade lower than that which was applied for by the candidates

Documents Required

The following documents should be attached by the applicants for substantiating their Age, Qualification & Experience:

1. Proof of Age : Matriculation/Birth Certificate

2. Educational Qualifications : relevant Degree Certificates.

3. Experience :

a) Service Certificate of Past Employments (It should have Date of joining, date of Relieving, Department worked , Pay Scale etc.)   

b) Current Experience : Appointment Letter, Proof of Date of joining, Latest Payslip etc.

Selection Process

1. Only shortlisted candidates will be notified for interview, which will be communicated through email id registered with KMRL by the applicants. No other mode of communication will be attempted.

2. KMRL reserves the right to shortlist the applicants for written test and Interview/Interview

3. KMRL reserves the right to maintain a list of waitlisted candidates after selection process for filling future vacancies, if any as per the Recruitment Rules.
