2 .Educational Qualification. Candidate should have passed Intermediate 10+2 / Equivalent Examination in any stream/subjects approved by Centrall State Education Boards wth minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English.
3. Pay & Allowances. During training, a stipend of Rs. 14,600/- per month Wii be paid. On completion Of training the starting gross emoluments at the minimum of scale of pay including Military Service Pay (MSP) will be Rs. 26,900/- per month plus Deamess allowance (as applicable) which, in subsequent years, may rise as per the career progression of the individual. Special Force (SF) Allowance OAF(S)} @ Rs. 17,300/- per month on completion of training will be applicable to Indian Air Force (Security) Trade.
4. Tenure & Training. Enrolment is for an initial period of 20 years extendable up to the age of 57 years (subject to service conditions). Initially Candidates will be sent for a Joint Basie Phase Training (JBPT)8t Basic Training Institute. Belagavi (Karnataka). On successful completion Of JBPT, candidates wilt be sent for trade training of specified duration. Training is however liable to be terminated at any time if the trainee fails to achieve the required standards in academics, profession, physical fitness and discipline or is found to be rnedically unfit. AFTER SUCCESSFUL COMPLETION OF TRAINING, THE AIRMEN WILL BE DEPLOYED ON JOB AS PER THEIR TRADE. Allotted trade will not be changed on candidate's request on any ground.
5. Job Specification Indian Air Force (Security) Trade. Airmen will be part Of elite group Of multifaceted air warriors. The job profile entails stringent physical fitness regimen, high level of discipline and involves undertaking special operations and carrying out high intensity security operations.

Medical Standards :
(i) Chest: Minimum rangaofexpansion: 5 cm (ii) Weight: Proportionate to heightandage (iii) Corneal Surgery (PRWLASIK) not acceptable. (ivy Hearing: Candidate should have normal hearing i.e able to hear forced whisper from a distar1ceof6meters with each ear separately. (v) Dental: Should have healthy gums. good setofteethand minimum 14 dental points. (vi) Health: Candidate should be Of normal anatomy without loss Of any appendages. He should be free from any active or latent, acute or chronic, medical or surgical disabled Or infection and skin adments, Candidate must be physically and mentally FIT to perform duty in any part Of the vndd, in any climate and terrain.

Candidates {from States Of Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram, Manipur, Nagaland & Tripura} fulfilling the domicile requirernents and eligibility conditions reprting up to 10 AM on 17 March 2018 at Air Fort* Station Guwahati, Borjhar. Assam (Rally Venue) will only be permitted to appear in the Recruitment Test. Note: The Recruitment Test is not for selection as Commissioned Officers/PiIots/ Navigators.
