Probation Cum After Care Officer :
Educational Qualification : Any Graduate

Salary : Rs. 9,000 - 40,500/-Per Month

b. MEDICAL TECHNOLOGIST (LABORATORY) Grade-III IN THE DIRECTORATE OF EMPLOYEES’ STATE INSURANCE (MEDICAL BENEFIT) SCHEME UNDER THE LABOUR DEPARTMENT, GOVT. OF W.B. – SIXTY SIX [7 reserved for OBC-A, 5 for O.B.C.-B, 15 for S.C, 4 for S.T., 2 for Meritorious Sportsperson and 1 each for P.D.(Hearing Impairment) & P.D.(Loco-motor Disability or Cerebral Palsy)].

a. MEDICAL TECHNOLOGIST (ECG) Grade-III: Passed Higher Secondary Examination of the West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Biology and a two year Diploma in ECG Technology recognized by the Government of West Bengal.Desirable:- a) One year training after acquiring Diploma in ECG Technology recognized by the Government of West Bengal, in any government Hospital or in a Clinical Establishment licensed under the West Bengal Clinical Establishment Rules, 2003. Or b) A Post-Graduate Diploma in ECG Technology from a recognized University.

b. MEDICAL TECHNOLOGIST (LABORATORY) Grade-III: i) Essential: Passed Higher Secondary Examination of the West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Biology and a two year Diploma Course in Laboratory Technology recognized by the Government of West Bengal or one year Diploma Course in laboratory Technology from any University / Institution recognized by Government of West Bengal where basic qualification for undergoing the said Course is B.Sc.ii) Desirable:- a) One year training after acquiring Diploma in LaboratoryTechnology recognized by the Government of West Bengal, in any government Hospital or in a Clinical Establishment licensed under the West Bengal Clinical Establishment Rules, 2003. Or b) A Post-Graduate Diploma in Laboratory Technology from a recognized University.

3. PAY: (P.B.-3) Rs. 7,100/- - Rs. 37,600/- with Grade Pay Rs. 3,600/-.

Information :
1. All the degrees/diplomas/certificates mentioned in the advertisement must have been obtained from recognized Universities/InstitutionsThe prescribed ‘essential qualifications’ are the minimum and mere possession of the same does not entitle applicants to be called in for the interview. Where the number of applications received in response to the advertisement is large and it is not convenient or possible for the Commission to interview all the applicants the Commission may restrict the number of candidates for interview to a reasonable limit on the basis of either higher qualifications in the relevant subjects/higher standard of marks/grade obtained in the essential qualifications or experience in relevant field higher than the minimum prescribed in the advertisement or on the basis of a Screening Test/Written Test. The Commission may fix qualifying cut-off marks for all the categories of the vacancies in each level of examination, i.e. written, interview and aggregate.

2. Vacancies in each level of examination, i.e. written, interview and aggregate. IN THE CASES OF SCREENING TEST/ WRITTEN TEST, CANDIDATES SUFFERING FROM BLINDNESS OR LOW VISION WILL BE ALLOWED THE HELP OF A SCRIBE, IF REQUIRED. THE SCRIBE SHOULD NOT POSSESS EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION HIGHER THAN THE REQUISITE QUALIFICATION FOR THE POST. If sufficient number of candidates with prescribed age limit is available for selection for a particular post, the commission may exercise its discretion not to relax upper age limit of the candidate(s) even if the provision for such relaxation is laid down in the advertised criteria.

3. The benefits of reservation of vacancies and upper age concession upto 5 years are admissible only to S.C. and S.T. candidates of West Bengal and upto 3 years to O.B.C.
