Qualification Details:
Coir Board, under the Ministry of Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises, Government of India, invites online applications to prepare a panel of eligible candidates for consideration of appointment to the following posts on regular basis during the next two year period with effect from the date of publication of the Rank List.
i. The vacancies in respect of different posts as per the existing estimation are as shown against each posts. The additional vacancies likely to arise during the validity period will also be filled in from this panel subject to availability of suitable candidates as per reservation rules
1. Name of Post: Assistant
2. No of Post: 9 Posts (UR-5, OBC3 & SC-1) Out of 9 one vacancy is reserved for PwD (Hearing Impairment)
3. Pay Level: In Level-6 (35400- 112400) in the Pay Matrix
4. Qualification: First or Second Class Graduate.
5. In addition to the above pay scales in the relevant Pay Levels, the selected candidates will be eligible for other allowances, as admissible, as per entitlements from time to time

Age:
Candidates must have attained the minimum age of 18 years as on the closing date of application i.e. 15/08/2021
Note:
1. The age limit shown against each post is normal age limit. However, eligible relaxations in the upper age limit will be allowed to the candidates in the entitled categories, as per relevant rules.
2. The fee is to be remitted in the Board’s account through SB Collect only and not through any other mode.
3. The applicants from SC/ST Category should upload the certificate in the prescribed form from the competent authority to the effect that he/she belongs to the SC/ST category. The applicants of OBC should upload the certificate in the prescribed form from the competent authority that he/she belongs to the OBC and doesn't belong to the Creamy Layer.
4. The applicants from the category of Ex-Servicemen should upload the discharge certificate.
5. The applicants from the category of Persons with Disabilities (PwD) should upload the disability certificate. The persons suffering from not less than 40% of the relevant disability shall alone be eligible for the benefit of reservation under this category
6. Fee, once paid, will not be refunded under any circumstances. Candidates are therefore requested to verify their eligibility before paying the application fee and ensure their category against which they are applying so as to avoid any complications in this regard, in future.
7. Candidates are advised to give specific, correct, full information. Candidature of the applicant is liable to be rejected at any stage of recruitment process or after recruitment or joining, if any information provided by the candidate is found to be false or is not found in conformity with eligibility criteria mentioned in the advertisement
8. Any gesture of canvassing, directly or indirectly, by any of the applicants will disqualify his/her candidature.
9. The applicants must bring the Original of any of the approved Photo Identity Proofs at the time of the Written Test, such as PAN Card/Driving License/ Passport/ Voter ID/Aadhar Card/Employee ID card issued by different Government Departments etc.
10. The Test Centers preferences opted by the candidates at the time of submission of online applications are subject to finalization by the Board depending upon the number of applications received for such places. In the event of inadequate number of applications in any of such places, the Test Centers will be adjusted to those centers as per the plan of the Coir Board.
11. The entry of the candidates for the Written Test will be strictly subject to Covid-19 protocol prevailing in the area of the Test Centres.
Selection Process :
The selection will be on the basis of a Written Examination. The selected candidates will be initially posted at the locations identified as above, as per the requirement, initially, at the sole discretion of the Board; but the service under Coir Board is liable to be transferred to anywhere in India, as per the requirements of the Board, at any time.

This is to inform that the closing dates mentioned vide Notification No. A12011/4/2015-ADM(P) dated 15-07-2021 for inviting applications from the eligible candidates for filling up of various posts in different categories under Coir Board stands extended and the revised closing dates are given below:
