Data Processing Assistant Grade B & More - 07 Posts

Job Location - New Delhi

Education Qualification :

It is proposed to fill-up the following posts in the Directorate General of Employment, Ministry of Labour & Employment on deputation basis and deputation (ISTC)/ absorption basis:

1. Position: Sub-Regional Employment officer/Officer on Special Duty (Group B'-Gazetted)

2. No of Post: 01

3. Salary: Level 7 (revised) on Deputation basis in the Directorate General of Employment (HQ), New Delhi from amongst the officers under the Central or State Government.

4. Qualification: 

(a) i holding analogous posts on regular basis in the parent cadre/department; or

ii) with three years' service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in the pay Level 6 (Revised) or equivalent in the parent Cadrel Department; and

(b) Possessing the educational qualification and experience mentioned below:

(i) Masters Degree in Social Welfare or Social Work or Economics or Statistics or Psychology or Commerce or Education of a recognized University or equivalent.

(ii) Three years' experience of Socio-Economic Investigation or Research preferably in relation to demography, employment and unemployment or manpower problems.

(iii) Knowledge of Employment Service work.

(c) Desirable: Experience of employment exchange operations.

1. Position: Data Processing Assistant Grade B (Group 'B' Gazetted)

2. No of Post: 01

3. Salary: Level 7 (revised) on Deputation basis in the Directorate General of Employment (Ha), New Delhi from amongst the officers under the Central Government

4. Qualification: 

(a) (i) Holding analogous post on regular basis; or

(ii) With three years regular service in post in the pay scale of Rs. 5500-9000 (pre- revised) (Level 6 as per 7th CPC pay matrix) or equivalent; or

(iii) With six years regular service in post in the pay scale of Rs. 5000-8000 (pre- revised) (Level 6 as per 7th CPC pay matrix) or equivalent; and

(b) Possessing the following educational qualification and experience namely:

(i) Masters degree in Computer Application or Computer Science or Master of Technology (with specialisation in Computer Application ) or Bachelor of Engineering or Bachelor of Technology in Computer Engineering or Computer Science or Computer Technology from a recognized University or equivalent; or

(ii) Degree in Computer Application or Computer Science or Bachelor's degree in Electronics or Electronics and Communication Engineering from a recognized University or equivalent; and

(iii) two years' experience in electronic data processing work including experience of actual programming: or

(c) (i) Master's degree in any discipline of the recognised University or equivalent or Bachelor's degree in Engineering of a recognised University or equivalent; and

(ii) three years' experience in electronic data processing work including experience of actual programming: or

(d) (i) A Level Diploma under Department of Electronics Accredited Computer Courses or Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Application offered under University programme or post Polytechnic Diploma in Computer Application awarded by State Council of Technical Education or equivalent; and

(ii) three years' experience of electronic data processing work including experience of actual programming.

1. Position: Sub-Regional Employment Officer (Group 'B'-Gazetted)

2. No of Post: 03

3. Salary: Level 7 on Deputation including Short Term Contracts (ISTC)/Absorption basis in the National Career Service Centre for SC/STs from amongst the officers of the Central Government, State Governments, Union Territories, Autonomous Bodies or Statutory organisations, Public Sector Undertakings, Government Universities or Recognised Research Institutions

4. Qualification: 

(a) (i) Holding analogous posts on regular basis in the parent cadre or department; or

(ii) With five years' regular service in Level6 of the pay matrix or equivalent in the parent cadre or Department; and

(B) Possessing the educational qualification and experience mentioned below: Essential

(i) Master's Degree in Social Welfare or Social Work or Sociology or Labour Welfare or Economics or Statistics or Psychology or Commerce or Education of a recognized University:

(ii) Three years' experience in matters pertaining to:

(a) Collection, analysis and interpretation of data or socio-economic investigation or research relating to demographic, employment and manpower problems; or

(b) Employment Service Operations including Employment Market Information; or

(c) Vocational Guidance and Employment Counselling; or

(d) Personnel Organization and Management.

(e) Desirable: Knowledge of Computer Operation.

1. Position: Assistant Employment officer (Group B' -Gazetted)

2. No of Post: 02

3. Salary: Level 6 on Deputation/absorption basis in the National Career Service Centre for SCISTs from amongst the officers of the Central Government, State Governments or Union Territories

4. Qualification: 

(a) (i) Holding analogous posts on regular basis in the parent cadre/department; or

(ii) with six years' service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in posts in Level 5 (Rs. 29200-92300) of the Pay Matrix or equivalent in the parent cadre/ department; and

(b) Possessing the following educational qualifications and experience: Essential:

(i) Master's Degree in Social Welfare or Social Work or Sociology or Labour Welfare or Economics or Statistics or Psychology or Commerce or Education of a recognized University or Institute:

(ii) Two years' experience in matters pertaining to:

(a) Collection, analysis and interpretation of data or socio-economic Investigation or research relating to demographic, employment and manpower problems; or

(b) Employment Service Operations including Employment Market Information; or

(c) Vocational Guidance and Employment Counselling: or

(d) Personnel Organization and Management.

(e) Desirable: Knowledge of Computer Operation

Age Limit

The maximum age limit for appointment by transfer on deputation basis shall be not exceeding 56 years as on the closing date of receipt of application as per DoP&T O.M.

Documents Required:

The applications must be forwarded through proper channel and must accompany the following documents/information:

(i) A certificate that no disciplinary proceedings/vigilance case is either pending or contemplated and a certificate to the effect that no major/minor penalties were imposed on him/her during the last 10 years.

(ii) Complete and upto date APARs (in original/attested copies) from 2016-17 to 2020-21

(iii) Integrity Certificate;

(iv) Cadre clearance certificate

Selection Process

Selection will be based on deputation basis and deputation (ISTC)/ absorption basis.
